  1. AH, I see so its like a centrifical clutch. Do you use it for just racing? or riding too?
  2. Ok, Im kind of a noobie wheen it comes to quad parts. I do know how to change out pressure plates, re-tension, stuff like that, but wtf does the lock out exatly do? If it is a neccesity for a heavily ported motor I may need one in the near future  .
  3. I know I may not be liked by many for saying this but THAT LOOKS SIK! was it hard to do? I'm not a big fan on looking at the front of the banshee and that looks awsome, let me know I'd love to do that in blu and white.
  4. The porting could be way more agressive by looking at your intake ports. How are the Exaust boost ports looking? My dad ports engines as a part time job, but everything we do is race porting that is still manageable on the trail. My buddy's old banshee pulled 86mph in a certain distance(not very far but not marked out) and it had FMF pipes, K&N filter, and V-force 3's. After porting and jetting for the porting it pulled 94mph in the same distance. Long story short he ran the local circuit and took 2nd's and 3rd's after porting it was only 1st's and a few 2nd's.
  5. I like your Ideas, If you would make an extended swingarm, a nice set of heel plates, a clean looking grille, and some skid plates you may have a major buying customer if the price is right. I know I would be interested in a grille and some heel plates. Let me know what you put out, and advertise it on this site I know you would get some costomers. OH, BTW make sure the grille and/or heel plates say banshee somewhere! Maybe have a front plate on the grill and have Banshee Cut into it!
  6. I Recently bought a 98' banshee and was wondering what I need to do to set it up for my weight? I weigh 200Lbs. even, and plan on jumping and trail riding. Thanks.
  7. Looking for a 5.5 gallon tank in place of my stock. Will trade if seller wants to.
  8. Ok, can someone put up the directions to the TORS removal kit? I would like to just make my own if at all possible, I have so many parts and tools its not even funny so maybe with some directions I can come up w/ something, Or is there any way to snipe a couple wires for now and get the kit later? Thanks for your Input Guys, Its greatly appriciated.
  9. I heard about the overflow bottle issue but thanks for reminding me. What is T.O.R.S.? Also it does have a K&N filter setup on it. I will not restrict myself with a four stroke. I figure my sled is 2-stroke why not my wheeler? there easier to work on, less moving parts, and are much lighter Not to mention Four Strokes are UNDERPOWERED. Thanks for the input so far.
  10. Cool, Do you like those holeshots? do you have any cooling issues? and do you have any secrets or hints on the cooling system that I need to know? Mostly I will ride on fire lanes and hit the track once in a while(rode my buddy's raptor 350 at the track for a full day) which is why I bought a quad instead of a utility.
  11. The dealer told me the engagement of the clutch is loose (he says to his liking), But based on ME loving to hit the clutch fast throught the gears I may have to tension it to my liking. Is there any issues with the 98's? Oh BTW do you think a full skid plate is necessary? or just the a-arm plates?
  12. Sorry about the red, I have ridden a banshee before and love the 2 stroke power, it had FMF pipes, v-force-3's and was ported(by my dad) w/ K&N filter. Mine has either T5's or T6's and not sure on the compression check yet, and may port it still but not quite sure  . Banshee-Idus? how so?
  13. Hi guys, Im new to the site seeing that I just bought a 98' Banshee 350  , I bought It and will pick it up on Friday or Saturday, It comes installed with some brand new Holeshot tires front and rear, stock rims, a cool head, toomy pipes, the plastics look mint, and it has all new bearings and ball joints done by a dealer that we know very well (got the bike for $2100). I was wondering If I should be aware of anything problems that I may have with this bike? Is the price fair enough? I am a very anal person when it comes to making everything work the way it should :geek: . Any Input would be greatly appreciated.
