im parting out my 1990 shee for the most part, im tearing my shee down to the frame and then back up how i want it. 1, 1990 j arm frame, no title and has been welded. $120 picked up 2, left + right j arms - make offer. 3, anything else hit me up and offer me on i can get pic's of anything.

i dont think it would screw up your motor but drain all your gas/oil and get 93 octane with 2r or maxima 927. there the best oils ever.

im in the same boat as you. i have the tors kit though, them screws wont do shit inless your tors is still on there. make sure your carb cross over tube in on there i forgot mine and it was popping and backfiring and i put the tube on and didnt have as much.

i found one of the problems.. i forgot to put the cross over tube on. lol and also when i pull in the clutch it wants to die out?

oh really? dang i hope thats not the problem.. i need to buy a flywheel puller. whats that little square kinda thing that has like 2 dots on it? i thought it was a ground and i zip tied to to the frame because i thought it might of popped off and couldnt think of any other way to get it on the frame but, i think it might be the throttle switch or a parking brake switch.

im going to test everything tomorrow.

i checked for spark and had barely no spark at all.

carbs been cleaned, im not sure on the elevation but i got 300 jets in there. i dont believe there synced, like it will back fire sometimes and i got it to rev up a couple times but that was when i was on the throttle hard kicking the shit out of it with the throttle wide open. i tried pop starting it down my road and it was like burp burp picked up and then just completly died. there fairly new plugs but i might of fouled them or something so imma try picking up some new ones.

banshee back firing and flooding out sounds like its running real rich, have to give it throttle for that beast to start

i need some items for a 1990 banshee. 1. headlight casing or the whole light which ever is easier to get 2. bolts to hold in the rear brake pads. 3. nerf bars 4. handle bars (renthals or pro tapers) 5. maybe some kind of pipe t5 or something cheap but good. 6. front rims/rear rims looking to get itp/douglas .190 styles 7. bumper (maybe blingstar ironcross or dg?) i got some items forsale or trade also 1. tors unit removed from my banshee (never ran it) soon as i got my shee it was removed $20 obo 2. bills pipes with silenecers (fresh black paint, looks nice) $150 obo hit me up with offers and all i need stuff asap!

its just a normal hole, i was thinking about putting another bolt in that hole and all but i couldnt find one at lowes that fits it. im going to try jb weld tomorrow.

he didnt drill them i did he marked which ones to drill and the one was the wrong one.

so i didnt want to mess up on the carbs so i got my local dealer to show me where to drill them and he marked them with sharpie and all but the problem is he marked the wrong hole and when i went to drill i drilled the wrong hole and now its messed up is there a way i can cover it up and do the other side or is my carb screwed?

i used primer.. is that bad? oh i did light coats as well.

thanks, it looks really good in person but i couldnt find a clear coat the the auto store. if i use regular clear coat it might just melt right off. ill have to check the can in a little and tell you.

i think i made a good choice and paint the old beat pipes for now. im low on cash at the moment so this is something nice. i want to get a pair of t5's or lrd pipes in the future.
