I have a 10mm 120 rod trex motor that i am finishing up building now, im looking to trade off for a small cub motor becasue i want to run the smaller cc class with the frame i have now. my cylinders are getting bored and will have back tomm so someone is going to get a pratically brand new motor. engine twister billet 120 rod crank brand new 2-5 tyson override brand new 75.50 weisco pistons brand new lockout brand new harware (polished) 25cc domes vf2 reeds intakes sb flanges drag ported by a shop in nebraska and cleaned up by me. stock stator trinity billet timing plate. adjustable pancake bearing (chariot) brand new gaskets cases are matched to cylinders and bead blasted painted ith high temp black (looks like powder) The clutch cover is now painted black w/ polished cover cylinders are new bead blasted The motor will come completely ready to bolt on and if you want i can put it in my frame and start it break it in before hand. These tires are gone, those are some bad bass rides. These tires have been on a laydown then ran on a 421. Hooked very hard (obviously) just wouldnt pull mph. You can run any tire you want its all the the setup. Thnks hq

I dont disagree what soever, my issue is that the topic has been discussed atleast 4 times in the last month. If i have a question on a topic i go to the top of the forum and search. I typed in "template" and there were 126 results. If this guy really wants to port his own motor then i suggest you start doing homework, use the search button and READ. There is some really good information troughout the forum whether i agree with it or not.

First problem is that after the motor seized he pushed started it!!!! Something was wrong could of caused more damage then anything!!!

Okay k&t set up carbs, who set up the motor? What was the squish, compression, plug gap, timing?

7-10% + cooling= races won. Just because YOU had a bad experience with it doesn't mean you can down talk it, because the fact if you did tune it correctly and your bike was setup properly for it you would be up talking it right now.

I disagree with you, we have a very high hp 10mm cub that is ran hard, going on 4 seasons now and the motor has not dropped 1 psi in compression, nor been opened up once. Its all in the build and tuning, obviously yours was not tuned right. IF you had the carbs setup for alchol, and checked your plugs while still in tuning phase you would not have blown it up UNLESS the motor was not put together right from the start.

First thing I would get is a lockout and do some tuning with it yours 60fts will be a noticeable diffrence. Alky is no trouble after its tuned in and a incredible improvement just have to purge line after racing 5min to do. And you can have your carbs converted. Tyson racing can do it for you (248-755-5060) or any site sponser.

Have a nice set of 39 pwk for sale, regular bowls. Set up for alky with power jet. Carb does not come with main or pilot jets had to use them for my new bigger carbs but does come with alky needle. I can give specs on drill bit size to drill jets to what they need to be. 300 shipped. ****Not actual picture i left my phone at home, can get pictures up after lunch actual, picture is just to show the carb****
