  2. yes ive used an overide few times before Itcould go about half track then lock up solid but anyways got new parts in the cases yesterday im from bsg va
  3. yes it is always something i do believe its cause of the caliper locking up on me is there any way to check the overide to make sure everything is right there before putting it back together only to find out something else isnt wrong in there
  4. found one fork broke and 1st and second have teeth broke hopefully from the brakes locking up and not from anything else
  5. buy you a tree and start your own track it will cost less than the loss your taking on the bike
  6. yea i went with cosmic quads and am very happy with it they can make you anything send them the pictures of the one you want
  7. everyones is always better until you get it just like for the last 20 years every new quad that come out could out run an banshee until you lined up beside it
  8. thats the same thing my shee was doing and when i got in there the shift fork was broken and so was second gear
  9. 200 ft really couldnt do much as far as tuning it in still running a little fat on bottom
  10. yes i am you can put it in nuetral and kick it 6 to 8 times and it willl try and kick it into grear
  11. never rode sand i would like to make it myself what is some of the stuff i would need to bring besides gas bike and beer what parts do people have problems with besides jetting what is weather like there during that time and few thing i need to know i can get off from work

  14. not my shee but thats what it looked like before i started and this is where i am now
  15. well went to track tonight and ran 2 passes with pretty decent times for the first two runs its way rich but on the third run it gets about 50 to 75 feet down the track and it locks up solid i mean it about puts me over the bars well we drag it off the track and i start trying to figure what just happened and we all think its the tranny when we relize the rear caliper is locked up solid so we take it off and she is free rolling and now it shifts normalso i go to make a pass not hard but just to see how its going to shift and again about 50 to 75 feet it starts locking up motor never misses sounds good so i cut it off roll it backabout a foot and it frees itself up but if you put it in nuetral and roll it back 5 or6 feet it will kick into gear but if you roll it forward it will free up so i guess what my question is does it sound like the forks are bent or the shift drum is cut wrongi have another tranny but its 1-4 overide if i get new shifting forks should i put them in with the one in the motor now if theres no visable damage done to the gears because its new and if it dont work replace it with the 1-4 either way its coming back apart
  16. just got back from the track ran a 3.24 and 3.19 and low a behold on 3rd pass the tranny locks up
  17. shit man i have one carbon fiber frame revo with wider arms bigger motor everthing but shocks is aftermarket and i havent even run it just got through building it would sell it for 1000.00,also have one x-factor stock completely would sell it for 250.00 one t-maxx alumnium parts everywhere bigger motor also asking 500.00 for that one also have one pretty stock t-maxx with 2,5 would sell for 300.00 all of them are in top notch shape let me know and ill get you some pictures
  18. here are a few of the bikes im going with tomorrow to the track they will be others but im going with these fellowsthe black shee is a wicked motorsports 10 mil stock cyl. on alky,the white red stock frame is 4 mil stk cyl. on alky the blue framed ridgid is stock r-6 the 4 poke is ds-650 with just about everything inclding n.o.s. the red and white silver frame is 4 mil stk cyl on alky and the last on is my dragger i just finished every one is running studded tires around here i know i wont be hooking up with the tires i have but got some coming from jeff at f.a.st.
  19. ended up getting them going to start installing them on sundaygoing to be wide but not really any wider than a yzf 450 with plus 3 arms so imgoing to make wide will probally end up using 4+1 wheels get you some pics

I came across plus 2 and 1 forward a-arms with triple rate rezzi shocks for a yzf 450 at a good deal and was thinking about putting them on my shee but didnt know if they would be to wide or not what do you all think about setting the shee with +2 arms they are a hell of alot wider than my plus 2 arms i already have on there let me know what you guys think about putting them on there

  22. if your going to run the quarter youll need to run a fuel pump and a pingel daul line petcock and if your going to run an overide youll need to do 1-6 complete tranny or a1-4 with manual 5 and 6 but it really according to how fast you want to be because i have and 18 mill i just finished with and i have a little over what you mentioned a i did all the labor myself including assembling the motor and cutting the tranny so i saved alot there but dont know if you feel comfortable building it yourself or having someone build it for you cause you need to check your clerances and compression and for leaks and jetting which would need to be right on for that distance
