  3. you mean im not supposed to wave to the 4 pokes as i pass them?
  4. fullflight will build you arms for either stock length shocks or the longer yfz shocks. Lets not make this complicated.
  5. Normally i dont do it but i needed to ride! all should be well this weekend. looks like the weather should be decent too!
  6. you cant explain it to people who don't care. post vintage mx bikes still have awhile before they become cool to own again.

    shocks

    fuck shipping would be $75!
  9. why are we still discussing this?
  10. what started out as figuring out why it woudnt shift (eccentric bolt loose) turned into needing a new clutch basket which turned into needing a new kickstart idler gear. somewhere in all this i ended up with an 8 plate clutch and more parts than i actually needed to replace. guess ill have extras. but to be fair this is the only problem ive had with it. mostly my fault for being impatient and cheap.
  11. same here. provided i get my shitbox put back together.
  12. theres always the BHQ ride at little sahara, ok. come out and put your bike where your mouth is.
  13. Half right. While making a bigger change can get you pointed in the right direction, you dont change 2 things at once. Where is the logic in changing the pilot for something that is clearly outside of its control.
  14. i run 140 mains with a dune port and r2's on my 28pwks and it could stand to drop another main.
  15. plug chops only get you so far really. if the plugs are rich and oily and at wot throttle it struggles to build rpms. drop a main and make another run. still struggles and the plugs are black drop the main again until it pulls clean. then work on your needle and midrange. dont change a bunch of stuff at once. get your WOT crisp and work down from there. You are on the right track just listen to what the engine wants. edit: just saw your latest post, try going WOT low in the rpms and make it drag itself onto the pipe. if it spits or burbles, your rich.
  16. save the money you spend on a coolhead for a port job. better bang for your buck.
  17. what rubs? the pickup or the cover?
  18. and you need to adjust the pickup, thats why its rubbing. take your drivers license or credit card and set the gap. to one of the nubs on the flywheel.
  19. that is a newer "square" plug, the change was made in 1995. round plug http://www.ebay.com/itm/1987-1994-Yamaha-Banshee-Stator-timing-plate-electrical-/290619149261?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item43aa404bcd square plug http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-Banshee-Stator-free-adjustable-plate-1995-2006-/290620686304?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item43aa57bfe0 kinda hard to see as douchebag minkia cant take a picture. stary away from rickystator
  20. do it right or do it twice in this 'hobby'. Even having cylinders re plated isn't cheap.
