  4. lol do i or do i not need an extended swinger?
  5. ok i got my friends dual carbs... today! we actually just real quick swappedem we had a BIG ASSjet kit and we jeted them.. and i like the dual carbs better. 38mm keighn. he said 35's O.o AND THERYE POLISHED! anywho do u guys think i need a extended swinger for tyhis?` i asked before and u guys said no.... also i found this cool thing imma buy from fast called a velocity something something.. it looks cool and is supposed to give u a better powerband.. not bad for 40 bucks.
  6. ok guys.. heres my setup T-5's A 35mm 2 into 1 carb setup K&N pod filter ( working on) Jeff Dune port ( and polish if he does it and as agressive as he can get the port) v force 3's Case porting ( also by jeff eventually) 21cc cool head Hinson straight cut gears. Modded shift star HD barnett clutch modded shift spring Hot Rod true and welded crank Im still saving for the port job and stuff.. got a long way to go though... mainly my main concern is.. the 35mm carb was fine with the stock size.. but im concearned about it with the port job. Ive heard itll Choke the motor. Should i switch to dual carbs? ( i can its no problem cause ive been asked by a friend who has a dual 35mm dual carb setup and he wants to trade even.) Should i? But whats the BEST carbs for this? cause i can get 35's, 37's. 39's, or even 41's. I dont think it needs 41's it might be a little too much for fireroad trails. So with all those mods, will this thing give a cub a run for its money? i have the stock swingarm and +2+1 a arms.
  7. i Dont know about you all.. but i let off the gas when i shift.. i thought everybody did O.o but then again i dont have a cub
  8. ok i found this online surfing the web. Does anyone know if this will fit a banshee? cause the model options says one of em is a blaster and the blaster and banshee are identical on a number of scales. Does anyone now if itll work? http://zmperformance.com/?menu_dir=5&s...exact_product=5
  9. ok so do u have to do anything to the plastics or do u do the same thing as the stock tank. edit- nvm i found and article. thx anyway.. and the t-5's are good? cool. how is the dune port gonna run with the single carb kit? should i go back to the dual carbs? i can if i should but i like the single slide carb ( so much eiseier) edit # 2- http://zmperformance.com/?menu_dir=2&s...410c4ec08cd8b6d will this gas tank work with this graphics kit? thx http://store.albaaction.com/shop/GR-YABA-FLAME-RD.html
  10. Gah, sry but i also forgot.. i been reading and people say i should get the dune port.. mid and high.. ok so i read that te best pipes for that dune port are shearers. Where do i get them + are they nice... cause my t-5's are in less the ok condition... (bumps, dents, the chrome blued, scratchs.. etc)
  11. also noone answered my question about the gas tank... anyone? and also u can port cases!? cause i have to buy a new one soon. ( the guy before me didnt tell me he hit anything.. but we figured out he was going along and something cought the case and took a big chunk outta it.... He just welded it back on there so i need a new one.. theyre only 500 bucks from cascade... ( wonder if i can get it chromed)
  12. ok so no trinity... ill have to find somewherer else
  13. I forgot to mention (ask) about my fuel tank. Everyone knows banshees get shitty gas mileage. I was going to go to an IMS 5.6 gallon fuel tank. For this do i need to get modified plastics? what do i need to do to get it too fit? cause id imagine the extra 2.6 gallon space doesnt come from nowhere.
  14. OK. This is my first post, but ive been reading this site for sometime now. Ive been reading up and im having some issues finding the answers to my questions. 1. IM going to be getting a port job for my banshee. It's got all the usual bolt ons. A single carb kit, pod filters, T-5's, a HD clutch, vf3's. I think I will have it done by trinity. They have a good setup. I do trails (fireroad trails) 2. Ill be getting the pro mx port job. Bottom end and mid range. 3. I will be getting a cool head, and i will be having the stock cylinders chromed. What size cool head should i get for sea level, a pump gas using quad? 4. do i need a lock up clutch? 5. i have +4 timing. Now im thinking with the combo or the port, the +4 timing, and the single carb kit, ( 35mm) that this thing is going to have an INSANE bottom end. Will I need an extended swinger for this? http://www.trinityracing.com/products/service/porting.html Thank you for your time.
