  3. also u said u removed the parking brake assembly from the clutch perch, did u unplug the wire running to the handle? if u didnt it wont let the bike rev
  4. after you remove your tors from the top of each carberator, you also have to unplug the main connection located up under your radiator, its a little black box mounted to the frame
  5. anyone got any good riding spots in new jersey or eastern pa.. we ride up near scranton PA, alot, and a few little sports in new jersey, needmore places, anyone got some good spots?

  7. hey, im at sea leval , nothin higher than 1000 ft, i got T5's/ k&n w/outerwear / no lid / VForce3's... the jet kit that came with pipes said 280 main/ their needle on 4th clip(counting from flat end down) and air box lid off.. i put the 280 (fattest it gave me) in and it still felt very lean, power dropping off mid to top, so i bought some 300's and put them in, it seems to run pretty good, whats eveyrone else run as far as mains at sea leval with same mods?

  9. has anyone ever heard of this shop? its in new jersey, like 15 miles from PA border, was thinking about gettin some portwork done up there since its only 20 miles away, they been around for 20+ years, dont know anyone who has had any motor work done there though, only buy fluids and other stuff from them... anyone evr had work done up there?

  11. yea try goin 50+ mph on road, its like outa control, its all over the blace shaking and alot of the guys on the raptor forums were havin the same problem. kinda disapointed to be honest.. they run fuckin awesom in dirt anmd even real real lose stuff, traction is amazing
  12. i just put a full set of GNCC's 21front 20rear on and they hook up amazing in dirt and coal and eveything else, but i was goin down the road fast for the first time and the shaking is so violent it feels like yuour gona loose control in 6th gear, i expected a little wobble from the big knobs and spacing they have but its just way too much, my buddy read on the raptor forums the same thing, and showed me, a bunch of people were all saying the same thing about the itp gncc's, and one said it about the mx 4's or 6's too.. somsone said they put it up on a lift and drive it in 1st gear and could noticably see the tire being out of round...has anyone had the same problem/./ or heard same thing? like crazy at 70mph+ how much your bouncing around like u got a bent axle on both sides
  13. yea also your old parking breake switch needs to be disengaged and removed, rip it off, if it thinks its on, it limits your revs to liek 2400 rpms or some shit like that.. not sure about exact number, but non the less, it limits its revs alot
  14. the things unplugged are probabaly the 2 old tors cables that pluged into the top of the old carb tops, and the other one is unplugged from that little black box under your radiator , thats the tors u dont want that shit.

  16. cool, i just ordered a set, silver vein powedercoat, i got the combo that comes with the works triple rate shocks w/rez's, cant wait to get them, under $1000, prety sweet deal if u ask me..

  19. no im only putting in new plates/springs, so those tools he was talkin about arnt even needed ?
  20. shit no 32mm socket and no clutch holding tool, no idea what a cluitch holding tool even is, hahah is it a must? and ill have to borrow socket from a friend i guess, never even seen a 32mm.
  21. was lookin at a kit on ebay for a set of +1+2 full flight a arms that come with tripple rate Works with rez's, all setup for their a arms and weight ect..../.. $979.99. what do u think? anyone ever dealt with full flight? i heard they were good to their word on their warranties, anyone haveanything negative to say about them? and how about the works tripple rates? considering the set of a arms is worth at least $400, the shocks are under $600, for tripple rates with remote rez's, why so cheap? sounds like a killer deal. no?
  22. hey guys just ordered some t5's / v force 3's, i already have the k%n with the billet adapter plate installed, i was gona take the lid off when i got pipe/reeds though, i got the jet kit from toomey, but have heard i should start at a 300 main, i nstead of the 280max that toomey suuplies with it, im at sea leval - 1000ft .... what do u think, needle 4th clip , start at 300 main?

  24. thanks for the reply, and yes im not a total idiot, just figured clutches were a ltitle tricky.. the only thing im quedstioning is adjusting the clutch from the inside like u were talkin about, but i guess i really wont know how hard or eas is till i go take the cover off and see, im gona do it this weekend or one night this week if i get home early.. so well see, u said somethin about adjusting my cluitch with the center bolt on the inside and "once its right" then tourque the springs down,, how do u know when its right? ands yea my buddy has a Clymer so ill get the torque specs ect fromn that , just wanted to hear it in laymens terms from one of u guys, usually in the book they arnt tyhe best directions / pictures, so well see, thanks, im sure ill bne posting in a few days when i tackle this
