If is wasn't drag racing I'd run a stocker. That was a blast with the porter 4mill. For me running a set of worn 10 paddle extremes the +2 works great.
I'm thinkin it's a preference thing. You could ride trails with a +12 if you wanted but I wouldn't like it much. I'd really like to trail ride with a stock swinger. I'm all about the wheelies when ever you want. The more swinger the harder that is. Just my thing.
I know this is alot late. Just going through old posts and found this one. Sorry guys. I like the +2 for drag racing. For trail riding it's alot harder to get the front end up. But i've got another bike for trail riding now so not an issue. The last time i dragged it it was nice. The front end stayed about 6" up for a while and didn't try to kill me with a set of 10 paddle haulers on it. Actually alittle too stable for my taste in play riding. Worked pretty good for drag racing with my setup though.
As long as the package is sealed I'll take em. I've got to finish up some stuff outside. Send me a paypall address and I'll get you paid in a little bit.
Ya what he said. No reason to email directly if nothing to hide. Takes 5 minutes to set that stuff up. I'd be interested in that bottom end if the cases are in good shape. If Mr Siberia doesn't want it. How far are you from Illinois?
if this is the second one surely you are in need of a change. I'll see the blue this afternoon. Then maybe I'll know which color I'm gonna keep. Not sure on price yet. New is like 5-600 isn't it? Maybe 275?
35mm A/S, boss intake, VF3s, PD head with cut domes for 100LL avgas and no spacer plate, Shearer in frames, pods on the carbs have to look at the carbs for jetting. haven't been in them since I bought it back from the guy.
Sounds like your in the park man. I don't know crap about what the plugs are supposed to look like but I think you are real close to what I'm running. I've got CEL and DEK needles. Can't remember what is in there now. I think I had a bog of the bottom and richened it up and that cleared it. Not that it has anything to do with your issue. Just needed to tell ya. Have you searched this topic? There are some threads that are a mile long about this exact setup. Another who cares fact, Jim at Passion told me a while back that my motor dynoed at 80 hp at the wheels with CPIs. That was before I bought it. Same setup I'm running though. It should rip with Shearers. I ran Vitos on it before and it was nice. Now I have Shearers. Gonna give those a try.
those paddles don't have any cuts or nics in them? If not I'll take them send me a request on paypal [email protected]
how about a couple more pics? maybe the side of the tires?
Just the shifter shaft is leaking? Drain the oil or tip it up on it's side so it wont run out. Take off the crap so you can get to it, stator cover, shifter. Use a pic with a hook or little bend in the end and pull it out. Flush the hole good with carb cleaner or brake clean. Put a little silicone of RTV type stuff on the outside of the seal. Just a thin coat to help seal it. Make sure the shaft it clean too. Put the seal on the shaft and push it into place. If you have to use something to massage it a little use some thing with a blunt end and push towards the outside of the seal so you don't damage it. Let the stuff dry and put oil back in it. Make sure it's the shifter leaking and not the plastic plate or the output shaft seal. Those are easy to fix too.
