Yeah you probably should just pull the whole carbs off and clean them inside and out.Do not oil the slides.They should move up and down very freely.

That stuff looks like its pretty good. If you ride into trees and fall off alot,I'm thinking its gonna be very helpful.Give it a try man.

have you had your carbs apart lately? If the carb tops are to tight the slides will stick open. It could be dirt in the slides.You also need to check for an airleak in the intakes. Pull the filter out and look at the slides and see if the drop down smooth.

local machine shop should be able to help you out

Thats bullshit..I didnt have any issues whatsoever with mine. I would take the bad part to Napa and get the tool to fix it or go to a garage or machine shop real quick and have them straighten out the mess.
