Are the pistons in right??? Did you possibaly break a reed petal, or a piston skirt. Did you take flywhell of for anyreason. Is pickup hitting flywheel. Possibilities are endless man. Check your tranny oil for metal flakes.

your only at 140-150 commpression?/ seems kinda low. Im at 185 on similar build??? I do run straight race gas though and had domes cut for that. Definantly go down on pilot. I also run stock gearing but like I said ive been considering playing with it a little. Ive been told to go up on the rear. IDK. mabey Ill just leave it after reading all this.

Im thinking of changing mine. I run VF-3s right now. I just have a bottem end hesitation I can seem to get rid of 100%. I play in the trees and hill climbs more than anything so Im thinking a diff. style of reeds will better suit me.

Has anyone tried the TDR Carbon fiber or Epoxy reeds? I can get any of them on the market but havent heard much on theres.

Typically u want your air fuel screws out 1 1/2 turns. Im still running stock gearing on my new 4mill build. Ive been considering going to a 15/42 or 44 setup. If your carbs arent dialed in right your going to have some bog on the launch. Have u tried running straight race fuel and not mix it. I no I had my domes cut to run race gas and have 185psi. I no our elevation is alot different but I would mabey start playing with your pilot jet or moving your clip up a notch or two. I fought and fought a similar problem. Finally a raised my clip up to the top and it was all the difference. I would try both senarios. raise it up and drop it down and see where your at after that.

Sandfest in coos bay will be going on 1st- 4th. Ill be there. All you need are the vin numbers. Get an ORV tag at several shops along the way. Make one up if you cant read yours. Just make sure to have that an Orange flag at least 8' tall and dont run unsilenced drag pipes and your good. Theres a DB restriction. I think its 96 or 98. During the big events there more lenient on it. Pm me if you have any more questions.

you will be ok with a stock shock. if funds allow revalving and a stiffer spring is good but no necassary. Im running a stock shock with a plus 6 arm. Ive got a great deal on a complete chrome, raw or pc'd swingarm. compete with billet carrier, front pivot bearing, brake line, brake mount, adjustment tool and line clamp. Also carry new silver chain for extended a arms. Shoot me a pm or give me a call for more info.
