  1. I used to use amsoil dominator but i swtich to Klotz supertem...whatever it's called. I love the smell of castor oil!
  2. Some real nice cars in here but ima pick up truck guy. And there was only two choices for me when i was shopping. The SRT10 RAM RC and the truck i got. enoy. http://rc.superdave2u.com/Lightning/waxed%206-28-08%204.JPG http://rc.superdave2u.com/Lightning/waxed%206-28-08%201.JPG http://rc.superdave2u.com/Lightning/waxed%206-28-08%203.JPG
  3. It's the same size as the fuel timing going to the petcock to the carbs. If you dont run it, it will have horrible low end and be a bitch to start. When i first built my shee, i forgot it was on there and i had TONS of problems with it. Put the crossover on and everything was fine.
  4. While that would be better than stock juggs, i recommend not doing that. Reason is you want your juggs ported to match your complete set up(pipes, gas, domes etc). You will more more power that way.
  5. Good luck, that's who i got mine from. That must be the owner of ASV. He is always selling refurbs.
  6. I just bought a set of 65.5 bore juggs off of a member here. They are at Flotek getting ported right now. I am going all out. It should be good for another 2 bores. It will last long enough for my taste. I can also pick up another set of juggs and get them ported to my needs when the times comes. I refuse to own a banshee w/o ported juggs. Look luck with your decision. I say port.
  7. Seen OP and clicked post reply. You can NOT judge porting by looks. come on now...
  8. The CLR idea seems to be easy as cake. I have a g-force swing arm that needs to be cleaned. Gonna have to use some tips from this thread. Anyways, I've used 0000 steel wool on my old t5's. Took forever and a day but it does work. you just have to keep at it. I gave up after the outsides that showed were done.
  9. Well i got my ASV set up hehe. Got a brake lever for 40 and i just won the clutch lever for $20 shipping thanks again savage!! My new build is gonna own
  10. Suspension.....you mean you can turn this bike? I thought all it does is go in a strait line. Ill have to look into this turning thing. One thing i like about the shee is 6 gears. Of course it needs them due to power but i love when im neck and neck with a 4 stroke then i click 6th. Bah bye! It's like the feeling a baby gets when he craps in his diaper. It doesnt show on the outside but you get the warm feeling on the inside.
  11. Banshees are bad handling slow turds in stock form compared to anything new 450/700 they have out today. Our aftermarket is what keeps us quicker and alive. If i didnt ride ride open all the time in my back yard, id own a 450 or 700. I've ridden a few people's a lot and i love them. The low end TQ is nuts but i dont like the lack of pull when you hit 4th and 5th. The new bikes also feel much more solid. It's hard to explain but everything just works better. But i wouldnt trade my shee for one. And a cub set-up cant not be compared to a regular 4 stroker come on now lol. How much work is involved to make a 450/700 pull decently hard in 4th and 5th like lets say a mild ported shee with t5's on pump gas?
  12. That much power you need tires, suspension, lockup clutch and cover, over ride tranny, porting, pipes and the list goes on.
  13. Dont take this the wrong way but IMO that's a weak engine for a stretched frame. Do you compete in a certain class that you can't go all out with your engine? Before the teardown, it looked like you had a fun playbike. Now it's drag only.... Anyways, good build. I'm doing the same but i has far less ambition. Damn im lazy.
  14. i had a playport and i was pushing 55.5 with horrible jettings. But #'s arent everything man. I bet you felt a nice difference from ported and non-ported
  15. I find my yfz450 set up rides VERY rough. Everyone who road my bike said the same thing. I will be going with some wicked a-arms and some shocks made for it in the future. I did however like how well i could turn with the 450 set up.
  16. free bump for a sick set of pipes. I had some of these on my bike when i got it. Very underrated. They work well for mild ports too. Good luck man!
  17. I bitch because my 6hd spring set up is tough lol. But you get used to it.....
  18. +3. Stop until u get a impact gun. I went got myself a $30 impact gun at Sears along with a socket to fit it. Then it takes one quick press of the trigger. nut breaks looks. And to put it back on. A few LIGHT hits and it's tight and ready for action(that's what she said ). Later on u can also use it to take the flywheel off. I put it on the nut and then the puller and TAP TAP.....off they come. I use the crap out of my impact gun. I always use it to take bolts off. Im too lazy to turn a rackets lol.
  19. I already talked to my engine builder. He said his porting will allow me to run pump gas. Before i was at 20cc domes and ported for t5's. Now ill be ported for cpi's and 19cc domes. It will put me about 150psi. Before i was around 142. Thanks for the heads up though.
  20. oh ok. thanks man. I guess that's what the winner did cuz he was $1 more than i bid.
  21. I bidded on one today. Thought i won it. It has 10 seconds lefts and i submited my bid. I figure by the time i get it done, there would be 1-2 seconds left. Well of course i got sniped and lost. Is there a way to automatic bid higher than someone else at a set limit? Or you just have to be good at it. Any tips on ebay sniping would help.
  22. Make sure you do a compression test! If you dont have a gauge, stop at an autoparts store and get one. These guys provided some very good tips. Most of which i didnt do when i got mine. I just did a compression test. I got lucky though. If you do decide to get the banshee, please order yourself a Clymer manual for it. It shows how to do anything you need. It's $35ish and you never need a mechanic again.
  23. Anybody has a dyno graph showing the same set up but one a 4mil? I am really curious about the tq curve and power under the tq curve. Im still doing a 4mil but im curious. TQ wins races, hp sellls parts. Old quote....
  24. lol banshee's w/ low end..... CPI's for the win. I love mine!
  25. I am in the same boat as you. I'm going with a 4mil stroker set up. Gonna get flotek to port my juggs for my cpis, pump gas and the stroker crank. Also, ima need some custom cut 19cc domes. I have never ridden a bike w/ a 4mil so hopefully i will notice a difference. I'm only doing it for more torque. I dont know if it increases hp.
