Has any one done an a arm conversion? My banshee is a 90

Well 2 things I want to advance my timing to +4 so the Ricky stator kit sounds like the hot ticket and I figure why not do the conversion will im at it. What other problems have people than burning the stator out? Also I guess I could go a different rout with advancing my timing have u seen a do it your self remedy I do have pretty good fabrication skills. :biggrin: ps love your bike how long is that swingarm?

thanks i checked the plug caps and thare not wet and i rode it today now it doing it even when i dosent get wet? itsgot 260 in cold this be the problem?

Also what jets should I be running with this setup temp 20-30

No the filter was not wet but come to think of it I did just have the whole intake apart checking the reed valves so maybe I have an air leak. But after I put it back together I sprayed every thing down with starting fluid to see if I had any air leaks I it didn

:sad: Hi, im new at this just bought first banshee was running good went for a ride and it killed when I ran thru a puddle no biggie I figured I must have got the stator wet right? Well I kicked it for like 5 minuets and got it to run but it was back firing bad thru the exhaust and would only run if I held the throttle just a hare if I let off it would kill and if I gave it more it would bog and die finely it cleared up and ran great. When I got home I took the flywheel cover off and cleaned the gasket off and sprayed off the whole flywheel and stator with brake cleaner and wile the cover was off started it up it ran great so I reassembled every thing and took it for a test drive it ran strong for like 2 minuets until I slowed down then it started bonging and stuttering really bad and back firing thru the exhaust and would not rev up at all I did the same thing held the throttle a little bit and waited till it cleared up and like someone flicked a switch it cleared right up ran good for like 100 ft than started running like crap agene. I pushed it to my shop and kicked it once and she fired right up I took off the air box lid and filter to see if I had water in there or something didn
