  1. yea the skirt breaks. how go u check the ring clearance. i took the motor apart it looks the same way it has the otehr two times. how could i fix this. i could get pictures of everything if it could help narrow it down. id hate to put money into things that arent the problem

  3. alright i have a low 90s banshee, and in the span of the year i have had it i have blown the left side three times. the bottom part of the piston is what goes everytime while the top looks perfect. my question is, what could be causing this. poor porting? bent rod? thats all the guesses i have so far any more infor would be great thanks
  4. just as it says i have no spark. details are. when i kick it it will turn on the lights. i changed the cdi, still no spark i used a electric current tester and it didnt seem to get a reading from the wire harness. or out of the wires comming out of the stator. i also change the plugs and no go. let e know what i could be missing, what might need to be changed, and or what i can do to find out what the problem is exactly. thanks

    yes that would be true on an intact frame. but like i said mine isnt. so yes it will work just the same as any replacement frame would.

    the bike i have has the whole bottom cut out of it not to mention other bent places. iv seen another person on here do it this way but with a tripple i believe. and this was is much less a hassle then going through the mission of getting one "made up" . .unless u have a magic wand u can wave for me. i know someone has an extra title laying around. pm me. thanks

  11. i feel like im beating an old drum but here it goes anyway. i have a banshee with a busted engine and a r6 with no front end. so im going to put the engine in the bike. now i know you cant have the solid axle to have it registered. so ill end up revampin the r6 swing arm for the banshee....after its all said and done and legal. couldnt i just throw the solid axle back on and drive it with 4wheels as long as i have the dot tires on it??? what would be the problems on a legal aspect. any help would be appreciated. thanx this is in florida also
  12. yea i called the florida dmv the other day but i swear they are full of idiots (no offence to anyone workin in one lol) they keep telling me the bikes vins dont exist that it was never registered but that doesn mean it wasnt reported stolen, so when i ask them how i find out if it is they tell me to call people that cant help me. hence the reason im on here. and i know the vins are right i wrote them down myself and double checked twice. i want to buy the bike but i dont want to be screwed in the process.

  14. stretch and staple...using a lil heat from like a dry blower would help get out any creases.
  15. custon 2-1 k&n filter. i just wanted other opinions im running 300ish and it seems a little rich as it likes to bog down a little bit when i gun it. but i dont like putting in the 290s because i busted a piston when i ran it that way, even tho it drove awesome.

  17. on the street at least at top speeds the front wheels will lift with front fenders on . also slow you down about 6 mph. the rears about 3 or 4.

  20. im looking at buying a bike, the owner doesnt know whats done to it because he inherited the bike and doesnt want it....iv driven it, and it makes my ported bike look parked compared to it. my question is is there anyway of telling if a bike is stroked and/or bored without actually taking off the cylinders and looking at the crank. thanks
