  1. hell the same thing happended to me, except instead of it popping my radiator hose shreaded and started shooting water all over the place. since it was right under the gas tank i thought it was gas and started running like a mad man thinking that shyt was gona BLOWWW UPP...then the gas finally ran out (i had turned it off) it killed and it started up after i reconnected everything but my left cylinder is acting really funky. gona check it out sometime this week and see what the deal is..
  2. anyone figure out the exact year of the engine?
  3. the numbers are 3GG-188629....and no luck on vins, is there anyway if i can find out if its a yamaha replacement, if not im goin to sand away the pain on it and see if there under it. this i would rather not do because the paint is still good on it which is another strange thing since it was done in early 90's.

  7. well i just figured it out from looking at the engine that it is a 88. and the 4bolt pattern in the rear sprocket. which explains the lack of vins. no need to get it registered nowlol
  8. well i just pulled my dads old banshee out of the shed the other day, cleaned up the carbs and got it to start (with a little help from some starter fluid) well my question is when i did a search for the vins i couldn find any (no its not a stolen bike so please dont post if its along those lines, i wana figure this out). not even a hint of were they should be. i know its not a j arm but i dont know what year it is., what do i do since i doubt my pops even has an idea of where his bill of sale/reciept or title or anything is, shyt he didn even know you could put vins on a bike. i heard they can tell what the vins are from the engine, but that also doesnt make to much sense to me. and if i take the bike to get registered i know the person helping me is gona give me the biggest shit face of life if i dont have any paper work or nada.sooooo any insight would be greatly appreciated, i know u guys kno your shyt. thanks. i also live in florida, if any residents can help out

  12. up for sale is a 1979 jeep cherokee. it has been in my posession for about ten years now, if i remember correctly. it has 104xxx original miles, with original 4 barrel v8 motor. exterior is decently clean, but would do better with new paint. (my mechanic spray painted some areas that were worn out). there is some rust on the car, no big holes, or peices falling off. most noticable are the ones that i took pictures of. also i beleive the diferntial fixing, it seems to slip only under hard acceleration ....but for normal driving in miami, you would never notice it. but none the less it is an issue. the engine runs fine, never had any serious problems with it. interior, the seats have no rips or tears in them. only problem would be the mounting brackets which have some rust. the cars lights all work, and also the rear window works great. i had a radio and speakers it, but am taking out for the sale, so it is completly wired for it. the best thing about this car would be its air conditioning which blows colder and harder than even my daily driver. check out the video so you can get a better idea of what it looks like. overall i have loved this truck from day one. driving it around town, you would be surpised how many people stare. and its a tank, i doubt anything on the road nowadays is stronger. if you have any questions please feel free to message me below is the link for a video that shows the truck so you can get a good idea of what it looks like. will accept any offers....let me know
