  1. I BOUGHT A CHROME STICKER COVER LIKE CHASE WAS TALKING ABOUT OFF OF EBAY BUT IT NOW FOR $4.95 PLUS $3.00 FOR SHIPPING.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...usZbs_W0QQfviZ1 ITS SIMPLE TO INSTALL AND LOOKS PRETTY GOOD IMO..
  2. I'm sure that it does get a little soft, but not enough to cause any problems. Hasnt caused me any problems anyway.
  3. I had one clear hose on my banshee when I bought it. Its just a regular 3/4 inside dia. clear hose that you can get at any hardware store. It doesnt have the braiding inside like the pic above, and I never had any trouble with it. I changed out the other one the other day with the same type hose, but I havent gotten a chance to ride with it like that though.
  4. I bought a set from with everything having flames. It is really well made. Like others have said u cant beat the price at all. U even get the stainless steel bolts and a gasket for the stator cover. I only wish that he make a clucth cover too. He answered all of my questions right away using Ebays message center.
  5. There is a set of clear hoses that they sell on ebay, but they are $99. I think that they are reinforced because they dont look like regular hoses. I had one regular 3/4 inside dia. already on mine when I bought it so I put one on the other side but havent tried it out yet. There has been a lot of controversy on this forum about wheter or not to use them from a hardware store or somewhere like that. Some guys said that it worked fine and some said that they had problems so youll just have to try it and see if it works for you. Its cheap enough that you wont be out very much money. I think it was like 75 cents a foot or something like that. Good luck.
  6. OK so it sounds like the boost bottle goes in the trash. I bought it off of ebay so I dont think ill be getting any money back. My last banshee already had one so I just left it on, but never had any problems but I definetly dont want to start any. Yeah I bought one of those blockoffs too. Thanks for all the info, Rusty
  7. Thanks for the advice guys. Surely someone is using a boost bottle if nothing else but for looks, even if they dont do what they say that they do. Cool thanks for the tip. Hey man I appreciate the specs. Now I wont have to buy a clymers just for that bit of info. Looks like I will eventually need one though. No I was talking about the torque on the head nuts, but its been answered. Thanks
  8. I just bought a Vitos boost bottle but it didnt come with anything to connect it, like rubber boots or something like that. What does everybody else use? One more question. Is there a torque spec when tighting the nuts holding on a Noss cool head? I bought some bullet style nuts to replace the original ones but I didnt know how to go about it? Thanks for the help in advance!!!
  9. Im new to this site and new to working on banshees. I just bought my second one but I never worked on my first one because I would just take it to get fixed, but i'm going to try to fix things on this one myself. Enough about me, I just wanted to tell u that I also had this trouble and got pissed off because I couldnt figure it out, so I just decided to go riding. I know this is going to sound crazy because I wouldnt beleive it if it wouldnt have happened to me, but they just started working. The only thing I can think of is the bouncing around that did it. Who knows??? Well anyway good luck.
