Im looking to buy a set of CPI inframe pipes, anyone got a set for sale???

Ill be there Dave, We booked our hotel in Hart so we will both be there on Sat. morning and Sunday. I just hope I can get it tuned in by then. Im using that heat wrap stuff so the problem is solved I guess until I ride it and if it doesnt work then ill have to use the other methods you guys shared with me. Thanks for the help guys, Dave

Im using pro design intakes. They arent like touching really hard but are real real close. They are the big filters but they arent straight they go on a band after the rubber where you clamp it.

Recently I have gotten a set of 34 mm pj's and the big K&N pods. Now I can mount them but they are against the exhaust. Does anyone know what I can do? I was thinking of some heat resistant material of some sort but would like to hear what everyone else is doing. Thanks Dave

I have almost an identical set up , I have a dune port and pods but everything else the same and Im running 380 main jets on stock carbs.

I took a real good listen today without the stator cover on, and it sounds like its coming from both sides. Im tearing it down tommorow. Is there anything I should check before I split the cases?? Can someone give me a list?

Its wierd, it was about 6 hours after ridding it in the dunes it started, I just re ringed it before that trip. So im not sure. Ive heard the crank bearing or something in the bottom end is to blame. Im ready to split the cases and just check everything.

I may end up just tearing it up, its turning into a big headache for me, I don't like hearing it, and I don't really want to ride and have to it damage the case or whatever and blow up massively. And if its not good after that, then I will keep trying to solve the problem I guess.

Did you take the flywheel off to repair this?

Its coming from the flywheel side loudest, But I may just try that. Im about to just do what . did. Also, is there anyway to tell if its a welded clutch push rod?? Any symptons, clutch seems fine, shifts good to.

I think thats what Im going to do. It still runs good and stuff. When i get my parts, it will go on and I will ride. Either she goes or she blows lol..

No problem man, I got a flywheel puller at home and I will do what you said. If I can't find anything I think Im just gonna ride. Hell, you'll probobly be able to hear it when I ride the sand this year lol. If it blows then I'll know it was something internally I guess. lol I do agree tho, if it was a bearing, for how much Ive rode it and beat the piss out of it here. I'd be stuck in the ditch. I took that cover off and the noise was louder, just couldnt isolate the sound. I kind of hear it getting faster. but its louder when the cover is off. I personally dont know whats up. I still ride the bike and it runs good. Starts good and all that. its like the same when its cold and warm. Im ready to just put it in the back of my mind and keep riding and see whats comes out of it. Still runs awesome. One clamp is fucked up on the header stinger tube meeting. maybe its that........I will change the clamp and start it up soon. But if its not that, then what should i do?

Fly wheel isnt touching the pick up, It doesnt change when I pull the clutch.

My banshee is making a ticking noise. At silver lake it was heard by rriggs and some others. I did as rriggs said to check stator and flywheel and stuff. It still runs good and everything but Im worried from reading all this stuff, so what should I do. What do you guys think it is. I can really only hear it at idle. Its pretty loud.

Got me a good deal on some carbs and I held up my end by getting the MO to a guy whos never met me or talked to me that was shipping parts before I paid. Paid for three day select shipping to. And this guy can't get you your stuff in like 4 weeks. Gimmie a break ::
