Theres no warrantee after spending that much? that sucks to spend 4 grand and shit ruined that fast. Id imagine a banshee with that would lose a lot of power, maybe better to spend the 4g on a snowmobile.

I polished my old cbr f3. It took forever to do it, and after sitting in the garage all winter, it tarnished to shit. Is there any coating, clear coat maybe, that would make it less high-maintence? or do you have to keep polishing everytime it gets wet. Its something I might consider doing to my blaster cause I want to keep the banshee black.

I like the green and black, reminds me of gravedigger.

Id save the parts because if/when you sell the banshee you might be able to get more money for it by selling the performance parts seperately and put all the stock stuff back on it.

I work for a chevy/caddy dealer and it pisses me off because almost every part I change on these vehicles says made in mexico. When I see this I say theres the problem "made in mexico". Japanese cars arent japanese and american cars arent american anymore. more like a mutt of mexican and chinese/taiwan crap mixed together. seems like the only thing american about them is the CEO.

my knees are fine but my ankles are shot. A guy I used to work with had bad knees and he wore a brace that had metal hinges built in. I have inserts in my work boots molded to the shape of my feet. I wear my work boots when I ride too. Riding is rough so Id recommend protecting your knees.

I always got some project Im working on and my girls always getting pissed, saying shes not pissed, but you guys know.... shes pissed. My banshee is new, but its inevitible that it will become a project too. :laugh:

I advanced my timing and when I put everything back together, my banshee would just start for a second then stall. I was fucking pulling my hair out trying to figure what went wrong. I knew I saw people complaining about it on here a few times also. I pulled everything back apart and found that the flywheel had rubbed the insulation off 2 of the stator wires and was shorting. thats why it fired for a second, enough to generate a current and then just short out. Hope this is helpful to someone having a similar problem after rebuild or mod. be very careful of where the stator wires are routed. I used a little zip-tie to secure them to the pickup harness.
