Ive decided to stop looking for a trailer to buy and decided to build my own. I see the trailer kit websites have a resonable kit for what I need and its hella cheaper than what people are asking for their used ones around here. I have my own welder that can handle up to 1/4" steel, so what I need to know is a good source for angle steel to build my trailer. Can anyone recommend a source? Or have you dealt with the trailer kit companies? If it helps, I am either building a 8'w X 6'L or a 5wx12L. Seems like the normal length for angle steel is 8' (considering shipping companies) Any info is appreciated guys. I am near NYC, so the closer, the better. Safe and Happy Holidays to all!

I sold a jeep this past summer and needed it gone. This motherfucker bid at the last minute and won the jeep it said he was from Mexico and I live in NY. I sent him the invoice. No reply. You think since he bid the very last second that he would reply? nope. I gave him the BOD and waited a week and finally he sent me a message. It was all in spanish and I dont speak that crap and the only thing in english was "sorry" at the bottom. I said fuck you and negative feedback. Not only did he waste my time, but cost me money to run the auction. Just an example of my many bad transactions on ebay. Weather you are buying or selling, something shitty is going to happen.

When I polished my cbr covers, I put buffing wheels on my bench grinder and used emory, tripoly, rouge, and jewlers rouge to pollish (there might be others, its been a while since I did it). You can get the buffing wheels and compounds at any home depot in their tool corral. they come as round sticks. the buffing wheels are great for polishing contours and lettering. just be careful not to burn the finish and use only 1 compound per each buffing wheel otherwise its not going to work well. it pollishes fast, hope this helps. :beer:
