  1. do you still have the tors on the quad?
  2. this is how i set my float height. with the bowl off, let the float hang freely, put a fuel line on the carb and blow into it. air will blow into the bottom of the carb. now take and blow while you slowly raise the float up untill it stops air. you want it to be about halfway. if it dont stop the air, then you needle seat {float seat} is stoped up or bad.

  4. i run the same thing, and agree. i have been using it for years in all of my 2 stokes, including my jet skis, with NO problems.
  5. sounds like you blowed a head gasket first, then ran it hot. the motor is shot. i bet if you take it apart, the rings are welded to the pistons, thats why it wont start. i have done the same thing before, so dont feel bad. you dont really know its running hot till its to late. a bad water pump costed me a new to end.
  6. tap on the carbs with the handle of a scwewdriver to see if it stops flowing out the overflow. if it does it is you floats seats are sticking. let me know.
  7. i think you are lean. try pulling the choke out , and ride it. if it is lean it will still spit fire out of the pipes, thats what they call lean pop.
  8. did you reset the air swrews for the added timimg?
  9. you can do what i did, and go to any autoparts store and get fiberglass mat for like $3 to $5 dollars for a pack, and it is the same thing, but alot cheaper. it will be in the auto body section.
  10. if you have the tors still hooked up, unhook it. that should solve the idle problem. clean the carbs to.
  11. somebody out there has to have some husqvarna parts!!! i can use parts from a 95 - 01. let me know if you have any of the parts listed. hell, let me know if you have a whole bike for sell. 360!
  12. i need a head, powervalve, and pipe for a 2001 husqvarna 360 dirt bike. if you have anything else, let me know. i also need a complete seat in good shape.
  13. where is the plugs reading lean at? are you riding wide open, or, are you holding it low and then cheaking the plugs?
  14. i dont know if i would use paint cleaner,solvent, on it. i use purple power on mine, hose it out from the inside, let it dry, and then spray it with oil. you can use k+n filter cleaner kit also.
  15. i would go with a heli-coil. locktight is made to hold a bolt from backing out, so in other words, you put it on a bolt and put it into a stripped hole, i will not make it tighen to hold anything. hope this make sense.

  18. i have 125 psi on each cylinder. if i want 145 psi, how much do i cut shave the head? better yet,what is safe on 93 octane with a stock bottom end. i ride in woods. oh, i have + 4 timing, vitos reed cages, air filter, stock box with snorkle removed, fmf fatty pipes, carbs jetted, boost bottle.
