another maine pit ride 5/27
fasstbanshee replied to fasstbanshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
i don't know about the hotels in the area, i will find out, there is a guy that rides with us his drive was only 1 hour so you could camp out in his driveway. what i did was my friend lives in dover so me and another guy we both live in hampton drove to his place and we put 3 4 wheelers in his trialer and meet everyone in epsom at the circle dunkin dognuts on rt4. the place were we unloaded was a big dirt parking lot there s alot of other quads there. there were so many trails i couldn't believe it the gps is a must. i was in 4th to 5th most of the time hammering the powerband the trials were so smooth it is for snowmoblies in winter and atv in the summer totally legal trails as long as your registered which all of us were for NH. i don't think there are any atv shops or many stores close to were we ride at mount sunapee its out in the bonnies. you can register at most any atv shop (except depot honda in norht hampton) I register for nh at plaistow powersports there is also lieghtons cycle in lee for maine regi i go to kittery trading post thats actually a pretty short drive from hampton. i will have to be re-registering for next month soon not sure when you can get the new stickers. i hope we are going back to that spot you won't believe how nice the riding is. it was my first time at this place. does anyone here go to kawie riders or 3 wheeler world?? were's everyone driving from? -

well we rode at mount sunapee near VT riding was great the banshee did very well, i did break a clutch lever when i climbed a tree but thats all that broke. and the 350x had an entire tool set and parts store in his backpack so i was up and running right away. having a hard time keeping up with the v force in the woods, i put the elka long travel on the day before the ride and i needed make adjustments through out the day but i will have to do that this week to get it to were i like. still had the backend flying around i was told, but the ride is so much better. we rode 80 miles according to the gps and i am a bit soar today i am glad is a holiday. bikes that showed up were 2 z400, outlaw, vforce, yfz, raptor, tri z, 350x, and a shee. the 3 wheelers did well made it through the day without issues, we arrived at mount sunapee at 9-930 i believe and left around 10pm if i remember right. i will have a update with our next ride. i will post some pics and video as well on this thread as soon as i can -

change of plans we are going to be riding in casco ME still meeting at the exit in rochester i will not be at the exit because me and a few others are camping out up there. there will still be some people at the place in rochester so let me know if anyone wants in. last weekend a game warden was there with a truck and a 4 wheeler and that was the 1st time in 4 years of us riding. it was all because a dirt bike rider from mass descided to cut across field were they grow and sell grass what an asshole it ruined it for the people who ride there every weekend. so Casco is a great place and miles of fasst trails with little mud. blaster guy is that a better ride for you? -

ya if you guess are going down southern maine let me know i ride with 6 other guys every sunday. 2 weeks ago we had the whole gang together 17 machines. i am the only banshee in the group. there's a kfx, raptor 700, yfz, raptors, z400's, tri z, 350x everyone that rides at this pit has a blast. i know if you make the drive it would be worth it. there is a guy from 3 wheeler world coming up from R.I. to ride thats why were camping out the night before. pm me with any info on riding, always looking for good places to ride. the most we have driven in the last year was up to casco me. the trails were great there. -

fasstbanshee replied to fasstbanshee's topic in Suspension
well i was told from a member on the site (lsr axis shee) here that they were +4 and they are definetly lsr. they very well could be +3 . very happy with them. and the axis shock got form the same memeber and they made a huge difference. i will have to look into doing a measurement this is the first time i've been told this. I ordered the rear elka elite long travel shock friday and they will start making it monday. they told me 2 weeks till its at my door. i am going to post a pic on this thread and in the pic section when i put it on. i am still using the stock swingarm i was going to shorten it but i have no complaint witht the stock size. -

Hey guys on my 06 banshee last weekend i went riding in the sand pits in Maine and i ride them hard hitting the base of some sick climbs, well i blew my rear stock shock completely and it only is 7 mo old. i have +4 lsr arms with axis shock and i want to know what is a good shock for the rear i am really leaning towards the elka longtravel to get the 12" that will be sweet when i am hammering the woods and the climbs. but are there any other good brands that make the long travel for the rear. the price is pretty crazy but i want to go with something i can depend on..what do you guys recommend and does anyone have something used.

Front brakes not bleeding NEED HELP!
fasstbanshee replied to Banshee750's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
use a screw driver and push the pads on both sides in so it compresses (if you can do it to both sides at the same time) the caliper this forces the air into the reservoir. do this after you have bleed the brakes several times. then pump them up and you will still have to bleed them but it won't take much/ its wierd but it has always worked for me -
