What are you looking for in a Banshee to make a trade.

I have a 00 Shee with a Few things done to it, what are you looking to get out of yours to make for a good/fair trade?

I do own a Clymer's manual but I was hoping that someone else may have had a similar problem and could lend asistance. I take it there are steps on how to test the stator in there

Thanks guys for the replys, I am going to try and pick her quad up this week and start to look into it more. I will check those things and report back, also how does one check a stator?

Ok a friend of mine's quad is being a real bit*h. When we go to the dunes it take forever to get it to start then when we do get it started it runs great, let it sit for a bit and try and start it and nothing takes for ever to get it to go. Did the simple things like change plugs, check reeds, check carbs, at a total loss. You guys have any ideas, I know that she has a cool head, pipes (not sure what type look like toomeys but they aren't) Stock silencers. I am not sure what the jetting is or if it has been bored. But I know i hate tryign to start it.

He told me it's stock stroke and the guy who built the motor said the porting is between a drag and dune setup.

A friend of mine is selling his Banshee because he has to many toys. He just had the motor rebuilt and it has less than 2 hours on it, hell probibly less than an hour on it. Vito's Crank, Rods, Bearings Wiesco Pistons V-Force 3 reeds Toomey Clutch (Replaced when Motor was rebuilt) O-ring Chain Extened Swing Arm Dune Tires, and Regular Tires as well Out Frame Pipes, not sure what type Runs Meth Twist Throttle It has been Ported and Polished. Well I think I figured it out. I installed a teather and hooked it up wrong. For some reason since it was hooked up wrong it must have affected the way the electrical signal was sent and didn't allow it to run right. I disconnected it and changed the plug again and back to normal it was. How strange is that?

Ok so because of this problem I wasn't able to ride in the dunes this weekend I am what seems like running way to rich on the right side to the point of crap dripping out my right side pipe. Now I have read alot about the crank seal and correct me if I am wrong but if my seal was going bad wouldn't I be losing fluid from the trans? It stays right on the mark perfectly. I have done a compression check and both sides are equal. I have check the reeds and they appear to be in excellent condition. I took the carb apart and cleaned it and have the same result. There is no low end power and it feels and sounds like it's missing. Could there be somthing else i am missing? It was running great sat for about 3 weeks and then nothing just started running like crap.

The one shee with the pink on it (my friends) her's is completly stock. On mine I must have lucked out but they never stoped me. I think this year maybe a little bit different though not sure.

I don't think they do anything, but re-packing deffinitly helps.

I had my toomey T5's on mine and had cobra spark arestors and made it past everytime. Just went slow!

What dunes do you go to?

I have to many so I am putting them in a slideshow. Funny Pictures Slide show there are more than 40

Around here this was the frist I have seen. None of the other dealers in town had them that is why i thought it was so wierd.
