  8. 2 1/2 inch PVC straight back is the way to go... lol idk I dont know shit about harleys accept that they use very old technology (push rod twins) and produce very very little HP per cc. but are very comfy to ride and good for just cruisin up the country/back/mountain roads...
  9. I bought a case saver off a member of the site a while ago for my old shee and he sold them at a good price to us other members. but I dont remember who it was and Id like to get another one if I could for my new shee...
  10. WOW MAN!! congrats!! that is a beauity. hardly a single scratch. why would anyone buy one and put it in the garrage it is a beauityful machine. I love that blue, especially as shinny and nice as that one is. you got a good buy. you can tell its never been abused or there would be scratches like hell and stress marks all over since its a rainy day I would recommend that you: 1 drain that gas and mix up some fresh. running old gas through a 2 stroke is never a good idea 2 buy youself a clymer manual and have it so you have all the information you need 3 sinc the carbs. make sure the slides are opening equally, air screws are equal, and if you have the know how (without the clymer (unless you allready have one)) take the carbs off, dissasemble, and clean everything to make sure there isnt any corrosion or gum in them. when I bought im 01 it had been sitting for a year and a half and the carbs were full of gum and all outa sinc. making these adjustments will make it run SO much better... 4 grease everything and go all through it to get to know it better. make sure all the frame and fender bolts are tight. (all you need to tighten all the bolts in a banshee is a 8mm 10mm 12mm 14mm 17mm and a phillups head, you can do most of it with just the 10, the 12 and the phillups) GOOD LUCK youll love it. and dont start moding it unless you never plan on stoping cause its very very addicting!!!
  11. They put plastic thumb and brake levers on them to save weight. now your scrambler weighs 5,132 lbs instead of 5,132.6 lbs see what a great idea... lol wow, you posted this thread just to start shit. WTF why not just go jack off on your Z400 but dont blow too big of a load on it cause the frame might break... can you say TARD
  12. I do alot of WOT running up roads and I can get about 40 miles of road running on a full tank but Im talking reserve and all. and I have 370 mains in... hope this helps!!
  13. first you start it, then you pin it, then you pop it. any questions???
  14. thats how it is around me.. Our closest dealer bumps the price up usually $300 - $400 over msrp then they act like they are doing you a big favor by nocking $100 right off the top of the price duh!!! you might be able to get em down to $6200 or so and they act like they are gunna loose money on you but they just like you so much that they are willing to do it for ya.. I have never bought anything there (well, one warrior a while ago when I was young and dumb) but I go in every now and then and get them down as low as I can on sumthing and then go over to canada and buy it...(or ebay)
  15. I laid my cbr down at about 55 on graduation day of 2000 and I dont really care for em ever since. I had another cbr 600 smokin joes edition and it was nice. comfy, quick but I just didnt care for 2 wheels ever since I laid mine down. I have an unrepairable dammaged sholder bone that allows my sholder to dislocate easily and it is very hard to get back in. (quickest at the ER was 45 min, longest took over 2 1/2 hours just to relocate my sholder) and I have scars up my forarm, on both sholders, on both knees and on my right foot. my advice to you is DONT GET ON IT WITH A BUZZ ON... thats all...
  16. I have heard the pilots were great fun too. but the odyssey is fun too if I remember correctly...
  17. to answer your quistion... Yes. I have has trouble in the past with clutches slipping using motor oil and when I got my new shee I tried using valvoline with my first oil change and it started slipping after that. I got some bel ray 75 wt gear oil and have had no problems since. and I have done several modifications since then and have been on the same clutch for about 6 months of riding nearly every day...
  18. both have advantages, if you buy new you know no one has touched it before you and its all up to you how it is maintained and how it runs. The advantage of a used one is you can get one with some mods (pipes, filter, reeds, head, etc....) for less than the price of a new one. If you buy used just go all through it before you hand over the cash. I usually look at all the little things, cleanness, on the kick start side of the motor you can tell how much riding it has had by how much paint is worn off on the case, they all do it and depending on how much it has been ridden more paint (or less) will be worn off right under and in front of the kicker. take a compression guage and put that on it, fire it up and move it in gear a little at least, make sure it shifts ok and the clutch is working good, bring something to put the front end and rear end up on, check A arm bushings and front and rear bearings for back and forth play and looseness. just a few things I do when buying a used shee... Hope this helps!!!
  19. It will run fine, keep it stock if you dont wanna keep putting $$$$$$ into it cause, like others said, its very addictive. once you put pipes on you will never stop... Its all up to you and what kind of riding you do...
  20. I have 2 law degrees and I worked for the US dept. of homeland security for an internship of 6 months and your best bet is to contact a border partrol agent and have them check this guy out for legal rights in the country. They have access to the information that is needed for this. and the women, although she is a felon, is able to get ssi for a child... hope this helps your question...
  21. It sounds like a stator to me. I had that same thing happen to me, I was riding all day, ran great. parked it in the garrage. a day later all my buds where at the house and we were all gettting ready to take off and I kicked and kicked and kicked that bastard and nothing. found no spark, after hours of screwing around (and obviously missing my ride ) I found it to be my stator . got a new one for like $150 (i think) and was back up and running a week later... if you can rob one off another shee somewhere that would be the thing to do to find out if that is your problem. Thats what I did...
  22. I dont personally have them but heard they hook up like hell but are a little on the heavy side. They are also a harder rubber compound so they will last longer...
  23. what ever you do dont put a dg on it. I put a dg full exhaust on my 2000 warrior and felt like a lost power. it sucked it was just loud as hell. I turned around and sold it and put my stock exhaust back on with a dyno jet kit and that picked it up quite a bit...
  24. Master Fly Shank Dazzle I like it...
