I bought this thing off ebay about a month or so ago. It was brand new when I bought it and still has never been used. 100 shipped. Also have stock carbs with Tors and a stock replacement K&N I need to get rid of make me some offers.

Problem solved. Shee runs again! First I swapped out the coil, and it still had no spark so then i went to check the stator and wallah one of my connections had come lose. snapped it back together and she fired right up.....I hate stupid shit like that! Thanks for the help guys.

I reside in Dumas about 46 miles noth of Amarillo.

Since the rebuild my shee has had alot of play in the throttle cabel. Lastnight I had a little time so I got her out took off my pods syncd the slides adjusted the cable. After this I made a quick pass 1-5 at WOT hit the brakes turned around nailed it again 1-5 hit the brakes shee sputters and dies. So I look in the tank, there was plenty of gas. So I kick and kick and kick and kick.....get the truck and try to pull start it that didnt work either, so I kick and kick and kick and kick moral of the story is shee never started so I got frustrated pushed her in the shop and came home. This afternoon I went out there pulled the plugs their not fould, so i leave the cap on hold the plug to the head and kick it over....no spark. So is my coil my stator or my cdi bad? motor has compression and gas, just no spark. I might also add that this all happened in the dark so I had the lights on, after I hit 5th gear and then hit the brakes the lights went off but i let off the brake they came back on. If that matters. sorry for the novel guys.

Thanks guys. Yall answered all my questions. I guess I will stick with the setup I have now just drop more money into it. Jeff, I agree its my fault for getting beat on dirt but then again its partly your fault for taking all my money and not leaving me with anything to buy new tires! I'll have to admit though it was money well spent I couldnt be more happy with they way this build has turned out already, and cant wait to mod it even more. Thanks for all the replies guys.

LOL I knew you would see this Jeff. I agree with you totally, but if I'm going to spend all that money on all the extra goodies why not sell what I got and spend the extra on a cub. Dont get me wrong this motor is FAST in the sand I havn't lost yet. On dirt thats a different story, but i lose because i just blow the tires off of it. Too much power and not enough traction. Expect a call tomorrow or the next day.

This top end has 3 tanks of gas through it. The entire first tank was strictly break in though.

Right now I basically have a brand new dune play port by Jeff @ FAST. Its just not fast enough for me though, I want more! I need someone to tell me what you think I can get of of the whole top end if I was to sell it? Also about how much more money am I looking at if I was to go with a cub? Right now my carbs are 33 PWK's would they work with the cub or is bigger better? I guess I'm just needing a little convincing from you guys, thats all.

As she sits right now I have 158 mains, 50 pilots, and the needel is on 2nd clip from the top. I rode her pretty hard this weekend for the first time on the new motor and it runs good idels just fine. I pulled the plugs just to check and they were both oily and pretty dark in color I have a dune play port from FAST with 33 PWK's +6 advance timing with K&N pods. Elevation is about 3000 temps right now are mid 70's to low 80's Thanks for the help guys.

Shouldnt they just fit in the little slot in the end of the pipe? Maybe they got stretched somehow or another. I believe I have a set that came in a gasket kit I got from the Yamaha dealer, if you want them let me know I'll put them at your door for free...
