  1. yea my buddies bike has the trinity 2 into 1 setup and that thing smokes off the start. I'm just curious what I would lose on top if I went to the 2 into 1 setup myself? I'm also concerned about needing an oversized/billet bowl if I go to a 2 into 1 setup, becuause I was at Little Sahara last weekend and from saturday morning until about 2 o'clock sunday I burnt over 15 gallons of premix. I filled the tank COMPLETLY full and couldnt make it from south camp to north camp. about 3/4 of the way there I would have to turn around and come back.
  2. I have an agressive dune/play ported motor from Jeff at FAST. The motor has alot of mid to top end but almost dead on bottom. Here lately Ive been getting beat alot because I dont get out of the hole very quick. Should I go with a 2 into 1 carb setup? or what other options do I have? I just would rather get out in front rigth off the start and stay that way, as oposed to being behind at the start and pulling them on the top.
  3. I agree with everyone else, you want good work your going to have to wait. I was in the same position as you were about a year ago. New to the sport and didnt know jack shit. I gave Jeff a call, he was busy but he called me back. I sent him my cylinders knowing that it would take atleast 2 months to get them back. Meanwhile Jeff always kept me informed on my stuff. I highly recomend that you stick with Jeff, he wont screw you but he is busy. His work is well worth the wait. Not to mention the extra hours he puts in to help you get your stuff running like it should 3 months after you get your stuff back. Just be patient man, everything takes time.
  4. Turns out I wont be going to sandfest, me and the group I was going with decided not to go that weekend. But we all just got back! Had a freakin blast. There wasnt that many people at all and plenty of 450's got smoked. Oh and just a warning, be careful on the huge dunes over by north camp. Theres tons of places where theres standing water on the back sides of the dunes.
  5. you name it we've done it....besides change the voltage regulator. i screwed with the idel screws for a long time and got nothing out of it. we've been up and down the wiring harnes a million times, chanaged the cdi, the coil....basically its just a nightmare and we dont know what the hell is causing it
  6. we've checked that over and over....and the slides are in the right way also
  7. my buddy has a 96 banshee. It wansnt getting spark and after we checked it out the pickup coil was bad. we changed the pickup coil and now when you start it the bastard just revs out like you have the throttle pinned. The bike did have tors but everything is unpluged I checked it myself multiple times.....basically we are all stumped on this one, so any help is greatly appreciated. We leave for little sahara on friday.

  9. looking for a cheap set of cases. nothing special just putting together a motor out of spare parts. I dont care if it has the usual chain damage as long as it doesent leak oil. let me know what you got and pics if possible.
  10. Maybe I'm just being cheap here, or not understnading the enginuity behind it but the only difference I see between a stock shift star and a moded one is the points arent so violent. With that being said, why couldnt someone save themselves 40 bucks and take their stocker to the bench grinder? Just wanting some opinions here, and dont be afraid to tell me I'm cheap....
  11. I'll be there with my see along with 2 raptor 700's a couple 450's and 7 or 8 other shees. there will be quite a few of us going. not exactly sure where we will be though.
  12. As she sits right now I have a 42 pilot 158 main needel on middle clip. My mods are FAST dune play port, 33 pwk's with k&N clampons coolhead vf3's +4 advance timing and shearers. my elevation is about 3000ft. Im just wondering what changes will need to be made? LS is about 1500 ft i believe.
  13. I need help Jetting a buddys bike. Right now it has 190 mains and 50 pilots needle on second clip from the top. Bike has t5's, trinity single carb setup 35 pwk, v force reeds milled head 30 thousandths and +4 timing. its pretty rich as it sits right now. elevation is 3000 ft.

  24. You've got a good point there Dave. Ill try the 45 but my guess is that I'll end up with a 42. Jeff should be calling me in the moring, I'll quiz him about it and see what he thinks... Thanks for the help as always!
  25. yes the motor has a FAST dune/play port. I went from 50 pilots to 48's and I played with the air screws a little bit but didnt have a whole lot of time to spare...
