  1. Probably want to raise the clip on the needle until the bog goes away. You will want it on the 3rd or 2nd position from the blunt end.
  2. No not the pancake bearing screw. That is what adjusts the arrow on the top of your cases, it should be very clear how to do it if you have a manual. The pancake bearing's are usually no different, unless you got one where you have to adjust it/tighten then put the outer plate on to check which is just a small PITA. The adjustment screw i'm talking about is behind your clutch cover and it is what the end of the shift shaft goes over.
  3. I believe he's talking about the elliptical screw we mentioned earlier.

    WTB 4mil crank

Contemplating goin to a 4mil drag port this summer if I can find a decent deal on a used one. Figured guys are goin bigger around this time so thought some might pop up here and there. Lmk what ya got.
  5. Are you high
  6. That would cause the fibers to grip a little more I think. Not sure how much it would help on the shifting. I would recommend taking the whole clutch down and putting it all back together to spec and see what happens.
  7. Seriously   Holy crapole where do you get all this from?
  8. What kind of oil are you running?
  9. someone's calender is a little behind
  10. hm, i think we've got fastenal where i live. did you get allen bolts from them or just stainless hex heads?
  11. You sure that little screw that has the oval adjustment is adjusted correctly and tightened down. I think it has a locknut on it, maybe that came loose?
  12. hey kaos do you have a list of everything you bought from fastenal? if someone made up something like that, with bolt sizes and thread pitches that would be ridiculously helpful
  13. boy you went from talkin huuuge about a build to sellin. that sux
  14. Just how many extra pieces are you guys getting? I have most of the stock, ok all of the stock stuff taken off. I don't really wanna pay 120 bux to have 1/2 of the bolts left over.
  15. Did mine too in a flat black that kinda turned out satin black. It's holdin up good, i just wipe it down with some pledge cleaner to bring back a little bit of shine so it'll match the rest of hte black on the bike.
  16. I've got a strong dune port by Kevin Herr. I know he's not on your small list of people, but I guarantee his turnaround will be quicker then those 2 guys, especially right now, and you will not be disppointed with his work.
  17. You can get an adjustable timing plate. Most people advance the timing to +4 or +5 (it's on the safe side). It helps give you a little more bottom end.
  18. that's y the internet sux at OSU now...fuck
  19. Well my account finally quit letting me use the classifieds and pm's. but i just told the guy in another thread he wrote in to email me about the tires and he did LOOOL. im sure PS will get pissed and shut that down soon though.
  20. I would think duning would want more mid-high power. Actually you really just want something that has awesome overall power. I don't mind grabbing the clutch and pinnin it and goin. I would think a dual 33 set of carbs would work great.
  21. There was drama with a tree? Shit i'd hate to see what'll happen if they go to flagging then
  22. Yes, more torque/bottom end, at least that's what I've heard. I personally just have a strong dune port and it runs fine. As for going with a cub and it being more reliable??? I don't see where this argument has a basis. I mean if ur pockets are deep sure, if you won't be doing any trail riding (at LS there are some "dune trails") then a cub might be ok. I've never ridden a "stocker" cub, only one's i've been on are dragged out so.... For the money of a stocker 4mil I can't find another reason to go to a cub. Also on the stock bored carbs, by the time you spend the money for someone reputable to do that you could almost have a set of 33 or 34's I would think. But to each his own. Some kind of budget would be nice to know on a thread like this as well.
  23. Sure, what's the point in wasting bores in your cylinders. And big bore kits are a waste of money IMO. You're not looking for max HP i don't think just something that will work damn good in the dunes.
  24. I'd just do a 4mil dune ported stock cyl. motor w/ all the goodies.
