  1. I'd like to see an unloaded graph with RPM along the bottom. That way you could compare the small carb-small pipe torque back-up to the 35's-shearer numbers.
  2. Mine runs pretty damn hard, trying to decide if I'm gonna get it worked on or just go to a bigger motor.
  3. Hell I'm still getting stuff painted, got a long day tomorrow, hope it runs when I'm done with it
  4. They may look like dog crap, and they may work, but they definitely won't flow 75% more than stockers. That's not how that works lol
  5. This HAS to be SloRyder right?
  6. I've only had HJR do portwork so far. Turnaround was great like everyone else said, and it ripped pretty damn good for stock cylinders. I wouldn't hesitate to go with Jeff though. Camped next to him at LS last year and he came over and BS'd and drank with us for a couple hours. He's an awesome guy.
  7. I've heard good, and bad on the supercubs. Some say the intakes aren't big enough to pull ample air through, but then alot of the builders can get another 3-5 HP out of them.
  8. Pull the clutch cover off and make sure the kicker gear is installed correctly.
  9. No, the machined ring below the lower piston groove.
  10. I'm also a fan of the Tusk clutch. Running one on my mild 421 cub and good so far.
  11. I mic'd everything. Only place it was different was this oil ring.
  12. I'd maybe try working on the setup with the motors you have already? K&T builds a mean bike, just takes time to get everything else on the bike setup and tuned correctly. You're not going to get teh fastest bike just buying a new cylinder and having hit ported by someone else each time.
  13. One was dinged up on the crown. I'm not that dumb yo
  14. Not buy, maybe trade my truck
  15. There are 2 different shift forks. Are you positive you bought the right one?
  16. Get her a KFX700, they are beasts, just heavy.
  17. Anyone gonna be there? Hoping this nice weather holds out
  18. We had a 421 cub cylinder that had a pin hole. It's been to millenium twice and hasn't been fixed correctly. Not saying Millenium doesn't know what they're doing, they definitely do. Just that it seems like this is a very difficult thing to fix.
  19. Well without any porting, your motor doesn't have enough power to launch in second. Maybe try a 13 front sprocket for now and launch in 2nd. Or you could try a lower gearing to make 1st not such a high gear.
  20. You probably don't have any issues wheeling do you? Sounds like not enough tire. Maybe try some 10 paddle haulers. What is your gearing?
  21. Maybe play with air pressure or gearing. Stock swingarm?
