  1. I think Firehead was lookin for some dickie the other day, try askin him
  2. You know when they start cacklin and makin all kinds of racket.....that's when you've taken it too far :ermm:
  3. I got some heelguards, aren't the prettiest but they'll work. You pay shipping and a box and they're yours.
  4. I figured you were already runnin a race fuel, but I was gonna recommend alky if you're gonna go high compression, it loves it. And there's nothin quite like the smell of alky burnin
  5. I just been runnin some valvoline 10w30. It's what the manual says to use (10w30 motor oil) so it can't be bad for it.
  6. You can try Phil's Cycle here in Oklahoma, he stocks a ton of stuff.
  7. Are you going to be running it on the same fuel? What kind are you runnin.
  8. Mine's loctited now to where it won't come off, Ima have to heat it up some I guess. My question is what stops the hub from spinning completely around, the splines between the two are pretty small but I'm getting 1/4" of rotation.
  9. I'm also interested in the swinger but was lookin for a roundhouse. Did you get the CFM off ebay? I thought they had a page but I couldnt find it the other day.
  10. Ya that would be better for the integrity of everything, but I planned on having the pin tight in the hole and how would you get it out if you can't beat it through. I can probably get the work done free, or might just do it myself on a drill press. New axles are cheap so I figure it's worth a shot just to try.
  11. I know this sounds like a beginner question or whatever but just bear with me. Going to get a play/drag port done on my stock cylinders soon and I have the opportunity to get a 4mil crank 5mil longrod that's welded already for a pretty good price. I'm just wondering if it's worth the extra 3 hundo to get one on a stock cylinder setup. What difference will I notice, will it really give me alot of extra power?
  12. Ya that is another thought, well I'm gonna try it I think and if I don't like it I'll get with you (theshee) for that axle and stuff we talked about if you still have it. Give me just a day or two and it should be done.
  13. I don't think I'm the only person that has had problems with the sprocket hub getting loose and having some front/rear spin and play. I debated getting a new axle but figure wth that one might have the same issue so might as well just fix what I've got. My idea is to find a strong industrial grade pin and have a machine shop drill a hole through the hub/axle for the pin. I haven't tried to find a pin that would be strong enough for this yet but I know somethin's gotta be out there.
  14. Got a buddy that might take the reeds, first dibs.
  15. Toomeys or FMF's would probably suit you well. Depending on where you want the power. As for "cheap" mods, mill your head to bump the compression, timing plate, and different gearing will make a difference.
  16. Ya if you're runnin a stock swingarm and spinning on a dirt road you're not feeling the potential at all. My stock bike kills my buddies drag ported one on dirt simply b/c I can hook-up and he can't. Maybe try some different gearing setups/tire setups (lower psi) and see what happens.
  17. What kind of port work did you have done? If those are Paul Turner mids then they might not agree with the port work very much. You still running the stock swingarm?
  18. Damn is this the same one you were tryin to sell awhile back? I think I had talked with you about gettin it but was low on funds. Send me some pics to [email protected] and I will definately take this off your hands now...the summer job is rollin in the dough and it's burnin a hole already.
  19. Also following this, I'll be looking for a +4 roundhouse pretty soon.
  20. Need all this for my build this summer. Would like axle to have chain and brake hubs, as well as outer hubs w/ studs. LMK what you have shipped to 73533.
  21. PM sent about carrier.
  22. I assume pistons come with this for $500? May be interested but I'll be on vacation all next week. I'll try to get with ya.
  23. Aftermarket clutch lever I assume.
