  1. Naw I was down in Duncan, preciate it though. Finally got it patched up after burning hole after hole. It's a little smaller than the other side but hopefully after PC you won't be able to tell.
  2. Got 'er a little too deep. I've debated seeing if someone would cut off their subframe and I'd patch it onto mine, but that seems like more work then what I'm doin here. Just takes alot of time, but now with the Mig we'll see what happens.
  3. Ya you have to pull all the same stuff off the sides, but you can split the cases with the cylinders still on.
  4. Picked up a Lincoln 100 Mig welder last night for $50 w/ a roll of .035 wire. I'll go play around with it some tonight and see what I can do. Any tips? I've never mig welded before, but yes I know it's easy as cake supposedly.
  5. Got my eyes on a +6 now. I'll probably still get a +4 just to try it and see but the 6 is at a hella good price.
  6. I already spliced the hole up, but I'll do an after picture when/if I get done.
  7. I'm too far into it to pay someone now, besides they'd prolly shit their pants if they saw what I've done to it so far.
  8. Ya it blows, what'd you end up doin?
  9. They are triple buffs too, so getting 'em spinning won't be much of a problem. I was just wondering about traction, and lots of it.
  10. Yet another story of someone PC'in a-arms and it working. Might have to give this a try this summer and see.
  11. Anyone else runnin a combo like this? I keep gettin told I won't be able to keep the front end down.
  12. Gonna go work on it some more tonight and see what I can do. Worse comes to worse it'll go to a welder to lay down some rows and then I'll grind it off where I want it.
  13. Still let me know on that shifter if it doesn't go
  14. Already workin on it
  15. Yaes, I know, dont have one though...any options for an arc welder?
  16. Well I pretty much had it how I wanted but had a few more places I wanted to fill and grind off and ended up burning through a thin spot. So last night I spent 2 hours filling and grinding and still am not satisfied. Anyone got any tips on what to use here, im needing a low-amp, low-slag rod b/c I'm getting alot of slag cavities and it's startin to piss me off.
  17. PM sent back. I leave work at 4, in 10 minutes but I'll take that stuff if you can wait for me to paypal the $ tmrw.
  18. Ok, he's got pegs... So shockcovers, waterpump cover...and possibly 2 of the carbs if you have one of each side. I assume they're complete tho? And no I don't need caps and all that jazz I'm just lookin for an extra set of stockers.
  19. I'm waitin on my buddy to get back on aim or I'll call him b4 I leave work to see if he wants the stuff.
  20. Damn talk about cleanin out the garage. I got a buddy that'd prolly take the shockcovers and pegs.... And I'm interested in the shorty shifter...just how shorty is it? Oh and the waterpump cover.
  21. You've got alot of nice stuff I'd bet you'd sell most of it within a week.
  22. Ya I'm a fan of launching in 2nd gear, 1st always seems too short, and 3rd seems to pull really really hard so bypassing 1st just works good. I'm runnin 13,42 gearing right now and I maaay leave that on there just to try it out with the 22's since it seems to work well with 20"ers on stock motor. I'll take a few other sprockets in case I need to switch it up some. And yes, lighter is better
  23. Motor is gonna have a dune port, 19cc domes, timing advance, all the small stuff. I'm trying to find a good tire and swingarm combination and found some 10 paddle super light extremes with rims for a good price. I'm curious if anyone's run this combination with a +4 swingarm or do you think it'd work? This will be ran mostly at LS in Oklahoma so it's pretty fluffy light sand unless it rains and then it's still fairly light and deep. I only weigh around 140 lbs. so traction is a bit more of a issue for me than some, and I'm pretty good at throwin my weight around to keep the front end down. Let me know what ya'll think.
