  2. if you still have the arms and shocks i wouldnt mind seeing a few pics of those, you have all the hardware needed to hook it all up as well?
  3. i have new mounts on order maybe ill drill them for the time being i took the old orings from my stock pipes gunna try them out till i can get new ones or if the work then ill keep up, also gotta get me some high temp silicone as for the spending the extra money its not that i care about the money its the ease of going to a local hardware store not having to wait for parts, i kinda wanna ride this weekend anyone have any good recipes for shining my pipes up nice while they are off?
  4. I got a set of fmf fattys and powercore II's installed about 2 months ago at the local shop. A lil while ago i noticed some oil sneaking out between the headers and the block, today i noticed the mounts that hold the pip to the frame (with the rubber dampers) have both broken. I took the pipes off and both the orings are broken. These pipes arent that old, i do alot of jumping and hard riding, is this normal? also does anyone know what size/part number or anywhere u can pick these up beside ordering them from fmf, like a hardware store or something?
  5. i guess ill just how to try it n see it if i dont like it i can try the 15 or go back to my 14 they really arent all that expensive whats involved in taking of the flywheel to be lightened? and what exactly will a timing plate do? where do i get one? whats involved in the process of putting it on and is there anything to lose? im really trying to make this more motocross friendly as i said before
  6. your saying 1st and second will be noticably faster shifts? quicker pick up more low end? cause im attempting to make the bike a lil bit more of an mx type, well bit by bit that is approx what you think this well kill me on the top end? also seems easy enough but is there anything i should know when changing the sprocket? will i need to get a new chain or tighten it up?
  7. i just ordered a 13T renthal front sprocket, just wondering if anyone is running this similar setup as me or if just the 13T what they have noticed and what thier opinions are? i like to ride in tight spaces and jumps therefor how will this effect my first 2 gears mainly as well as the rest just looking for a lil input as to what to expect
  8. just brought my new tirekit home (itp 10# c-series rims and raz'r tires) i went and picked it up unassembled cause they said it would take them a week before they could get to puttin them together and i know i can get that done at any tire shop around. but i dont wanna wait untill tmr if i even get off work in time so i tryed myself and its tougher than it seems especially without any tools, managed to seat the valve stem in the rim and thats about all anyone got any tips for this or should i just be patient and not wreck my new rims and take them to a tire shop? also do atv tires need to be balanced? if so theres no point in me doing it at all
  9. i found a place close to me selling razr's with 10" Itp c series wheels demensions Front- 21x7x10 Rear- 20x11x10 ive decided to get the razrs for sure should i go 9" or 10" wheels? also should i go 4 or 6 ply on the tires not much dif in price, anyone have any idea how much weight dif there would be?
  10. thanks for the opinion razr's or razr2's should i go a size wider in the back tires or will that bring down my performance to much? as for the sprockets how many tooth? also what size chain will i need i need to get a clymers manual
  11. just put a nice rip in my rear tire so im buying new tires, just looking for a few opinions. Right now im running stock tires and rims. I ride alot of gravel (old train tracks around my house get me anywhere, very rough ride with lots of moguls though) some road use as well. But when im not getting from place to place i ride in all kinds of conditions, hard pack dirt i would say and there is also a few sand pits around. i ride trails occasionally but mostly i like to do lots of jumping and am considering getting into riding out on some of the local mx courses. Just wondering what tires u guys think i should run and what size would be best for my stock rims, or if you think i should splurge some extra money if i can afford it and get tires/wheels, im not looking for something thats going to wear out on me fast but im leaning more towards performance than durability i would this be a time to put new front/rear sprockets and a new chain as well if so what would be the best
