i must have gotten lucky because i didn't have any problems. i had a harder time getting the spindle nut off than the hub. but maybe it was removed prior to me getting them (off of ebay). i had to take them apart to clean them before i start trying to put them on my blaster.

no you don't need a wheel puller. all you have to do to remove the front hub is take off the spindle nut (remove the cotter pin to get it off) then pull the hub off. its easiest to do with the spindles on the quad. imo. hope that helps. reded: i didn't have to use a gear puller. but my bearings weren't fried. and my spindles were off the bike when i did it. i just used a rubber mallet.

i live in washington. i'm about an hour and a half from moses hole. unfortunately i can't ride right now due to an injury.

i actually thought about trying something similar. i thought about trying to use some air shocks from a car. i got the idea because fox has a set of air shocks out for quads. but i was told that it would be too stiff. i can't be of much help on this question because i haven't actually tried it but i told you what i was told.

i really hope you get your banshee back. the cuts you did on your plastics look nice. i posted something about the flamed cut so if you got the idea from me then i have to say thank you for trying the idea. it looks like it worked out pretty well. maybe a little too well since somebody ran off with your quad. well i sincerely hope you get it back.

i have heard that using a torch is a good way to get the stress marks out of plastics. has anybody else heard of this/tried it? or is this a load of b.s.? also i cut the fenders on my blaster with a dremel/cut-off wheel. even on the lowest speed setting it melted the plastics.

you know what i think would look pretty trick is if you could cut a flame pattern in the fenders. i'm thinking about doing it on my blaster plastics but i am probably going to try to sell it soon. looking to buy a banshee hopefully soon. anyway i just thought i would throw out an idea. if i do cut my fenders i will take pics and post them.

ummmmm. if that is an 05 blaster why does it look like it has drum brakes (no master cylender on the handle bars) on the front? and i can't tell from the pics you posted but it looks like the older mechanical disk set up in the back as well. i find it hard to believe that that is a 05.
