  1. I know this is a banshee site but a while back he had this bad a$$ 250r that was all chrome with a huge extended swingarm. He was really proud of that thing. He would make jokes about it. He said that not to long ago he was racing and smoking pretty much everbody. He goes shit Ive been rockin sh*t like this for 20 years. You dont even want to see what i can do with the new bikes. One time dude pulled out his flat track banshee and rode it in his parking lot and went buck wild on it. He is one of the best riders Ive ever seen.
  2. I been to his shop a few times. He always will have the parts you need. The name of his shop is atv cycle sports. Huge selection of new and used parts.. The guy is real informative and willing to spend plenty of time with you.
  3. in the silencers is where the K&N is. DUH
  4. you gotta do what you gotta do to win. Most races these people talk about dont have lights on them to tell them when to go. Most every race I see at dumont if not setup with lights some one leaves way earlier than the other person or persons. Fuck most of the time people pull up on me they dont even stop they just keep going like rolling starts. I go to look over and they already are going. The best is when you still beat them.
  5. For the for sure win tell him you're only going to race him one time. The only reason for that is you dont want him to get depressed on all the moey he spent on the slow poke. Then just when you line up and almost ready to go ask him what that is over there and just take off. You should for sure win. Call it good. And say i told you so. It works everytime. Then for some crazy reason you want to race him again and he wins tell him about the first time you raced and smoked his a$$
  6. WTF?
  7. I agree sandstars are great for all around duning, haulers are for going straight or hillshoots. Buy both sets I have both. When your racing with buddies have haulers on, When fooling around not worrying about racing have the stars on. If you get beat while having the stars on go back to the trailer and swap them for haulers it takes 5 minutes. Then seek your revenge.
  8. Its great to see people come out and vouch for kevins work. It makes me feel real comfortable in bringing him my motor. Your bike looks to be running great 00t. What king of gearing r u running?
  9. I was told to drop 1 tooth in the front if I wanted to pull 5th up the hill. Because prior to that I would be top of 4th but when shifted to 5th it bogged. Then i would have to down shift.. it was like in between gears. Im sure kevin will fix it and ill see him at the dunes smoking people. Like you said they take alot of work to run well. Believe me I put in the money. do you ever hillshoot? If so what kind of gearing r u running?
  10. that is where i used to my parts from is team racers edge. i used to drive down there and back all the time to drop off and pick up. i just dont want to mess with them anymore. i got into it with dan one time because I wanted him to dyno tune my bike. i asked him to do before I got down there. he had my bike for a couple of months and when I got there he said he didn't do it. I drove 5 hours to get the bike. So after that I was done. hey kevin u dont like them? Oh by the way rex i even run 13/41 gearing
  11. Yes stock swingarm. supposedly there is a dune port on it.
  12. you really need to figure out your compression. I ran c12 this last weekend for the first time and my bike ran like shit. So I dumped it and put the normal 100 in it and it ran way better. I threw c12 in it not checking my compression and my bike didn't like it. I heard that if your run that high of octane and dont need it it will hurt you more than help you.
  13. this is how it ran up banshee hill at dumont before I got it jetted correctly. This is me going up the hill in 4th gear. I had it rejetted shortly after and I was able to get 5th gear up the hill so its a little faster now. But the bike can be inconsistant at times. sometimes it wants to pull 5th gear and sometimes not. This is also a stock stroke 393cc. [ http://img532.imageshack.us/my.php?image=june2007165to9.flv
  14. thats cool. ill also send you some video of my bike running up banshee hill at dumont. and it will give you a look at what the motor does. Next week ill have my aunt drive the bike up to you on mon. or tues... Its probably going to be something stupid for the reason it doesn't run to its potential. the guys up here rejetted it not to long ago and said the pistons and everyhting looked great like new. Its never been bored either. standard 68 mm piston for that motor.
  15. same carbs and pipes also. I run cpi inframe small bore and 35 pwk a/s
  16. did your domes have a stamp on them that tells you the size they are? Would you be willing to try them?
  17. I checked out your guys website and noticed possums bike what does he have done to it motor wise.? Also do you guys have shirts and stickers? When i pick my bike back up from you guys I would like to get some if you have any. Do a little advertising for you to say thanks.
  18. I was wondering because I believe thats what i have in my setup 8.5cc. i had an extra set of 10cc domes in my tool box and I didn't know if you have ever tried those ones.
  19. man that bike shits and gets. i have a question for you have you even tried the racing domes from dasa. i noticed on your profile you are running 12cc i think they go all the way down to 8cc domes. And what kind of compression do you have?
  20. from that youtube link I saw some of your other videos nice. what kind of power did you get out of those cylinders? and how long have you had them?
  21. man your bike looks bad a$$ rex, do you have any videos of yours
  22. The motors not bad at all. I just dont want to drive 8 hours all the time to get it fixed. Im not experienced enough to do the work myself. And the relationship with Dan and a couple of his workers went south once and I rather give my money to someone else. They just seemed more worried about there 4 stroke bikes now more than the 2 strokes which is understandable. Id rather just start over with a biulder thats willing to spend the time with me and loves working on the banshees
  23. Hey kevin Ill be bring my bike down to San diego this weekend to my aunts house. I call you on monday next week. Then when you get back from glamis I have my aunt bring you my bike so the building could begin. Thanks man for all your help and info.
  24. If any of you on here have some videos of your bikes running with his work I would like to check them out. Come on lowbuck you know you have some.
  25. Im looking at some of the parts you have on your bike shee4 and I notice that you don't have an extended swing arm. Does that make your bike harder to ride as far as say hillshooting. like I said I rode a good ported banshee last weekend and the tires were always skyward.
