  1. Well if you've never owned a Banshee, much less a four-wheeler, it's going to be difficult to start out on a banshee, one of the fastest around. By no means am I saying don't get a banshee first, as my first quad was a banshee, I'm just saying if you've never really ridden before it can be a little too much. Your best bet to answer all of the questions is to use the search feature at the top of the forum. It saves you the time of asking all the questions. All in all welcome to the HQ, I hope you enjoy the forums and quads as much as I do.
  2. There's no way his ass is over 16
  3. I got an email saying everything2stroke is back...hell yeah.
  4. I just rejetted my carbs to make up for the CLamp on K&N's I put on 260's, from the stock 200's Then, I try and start it up, and it won't, i fouled the plugs, ok not a big deal. Well I put in new plugs, and it starts up, but smokes like crazy on one side... Is it only firing on one side? the other side runs as normal

  7. Although Indeed I wish that I lived near dunes, or anything that remotely resembled dunes. I've never been riding out on Dunes before, I'm hoping sometime I can head up to Little Sahara, it's not too bad of a drive.
  8. Texas baby...Up norf is for suckas.
  9. haha this is old, but so classic.
  10. I've seen this done before, you'll need to have the parts that WON'T come apart pulling those kinds of speeds.
  11. Alright SheeFreak thanks, yeah I have stock pipes. So 260 would be good? I'd rather be a lil rich than lean. Thanks

  13. I know I need to rejet. thanks But what I need to know is what size mains to get? I have a stock setup so should I get bigger or smaller? Plus do I need to change the pilots?
  14. Yeah but I don't have the faintest idea how. Even after reading the tutorial on the board, I do'nt know where anything is on the carb, nor where to change. Bigger or smaller on the mains? What size do you reccommend? I have no idea what it is now, but it's stock. So if there's somesetting they have all around on stock, then it's that.
  15. Ok, I recently installed new K&N Filters with Outerwear (here ) So I install them, but everything back on. The start it up. I expected it to sound different, since I took out the airbox completely and got rid of the stock filter crap. But I didn't expect it to run to different. I get it into the field outside my house and attempt to open it up, I runs fine in first gear, but as soon as I shift into second, it bogs out. It bogs till 1/2 throttle, then runs fine, then if you give it more gas then 1/2 it won't go any faster, it'll stay the speed of 1/2. It does this in every gear but 1st, which runs somewhat fine. What do I need to do? Did I install it wrong? If it's jetting (which I figured it is) what do I need to change? I still have the stock jetting configuration. Also I've never changed jetting before so I have no idea what to do if it is that. Here are some pics of them installed. EDIT: Although it looks like the filter is getting hit by the sticking out peice that the airbox was on, it's not. It's just touching the outerwear, the filter isn't touched.

  18. haha best joke all day free bump Btw I'd take em, but I don't live within 200 miles of dunes...
  19. haha your too modest man.
  20. Well since I have no budget at the moment for a new bumper, so instead I decided to come up with my own renovations, for as cheap as I get, but I wanted a "new" look. First I removed the stock bumper and welded together some open spots down towards the bottom to make it stronger. Then, I took a long peice of steel, and measured and cut that to fit into the open gap on the stock bumper. Then I sanded all that down and put Bondo (best smelling stuff on earth) to fill in all the gaps and even it all out nicely. Afterwards I sanded all that down again with 50 grit, then 200 grit, to make it as fine as possible, and ready to paint. I got the best quality spray paint I could find for the cheapest I could find (under $20) I primed it, painted it, sanded again, primed, then painted a final time. Then put some spray on metal chrome flakes in it at the end (You can't really notice the flakes) Here are some pics of the job, I think I did ok for my first mod on a bumper. EDIT: Sorry for the last two pictures being so blurry, best I could do short notice, I'll have to fix it tommorrow or something.
  21. Welcome! EDIT: I'm 100 percent sure he's not night. I think.
