I recently cut away some plastic to give my filter more room to breathe...My friend said that I'd need to rejet it or my engine would expload. I figured I'd be fine. Do I need to rejet?

Does anyone know where to take my bike in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for a Port and Polish job??? Help would be appreciated, I'm wanting to put a big bore 150 kit on my 125, and a port and polish would be good.

People are interested in the quad...just don't have the bike to trade for it... Props on the 450 though, nice lookin.

I rode one last year out in Colorado, it was only a 600 though, not quite as fast as a 1000 haha. Either way it was a blast and we rode the tar out of the thing. It'll pay for itself in one or two rides trust me.

Although right now I'm in between ATV's...My warrior is gone so right now I have my TTR-125, barely enough power to get me off the couch. My banshee will present itself soon and I'll go riding as much as I can before school starts back up.

I'm new to two-strokes, and I'm fairly new to ATV's... I have a list of questions that I need answered, cuz i'm lost around HQ. As much as a n00b I'm gonna sound like, here goes: A.What are reeds? B.What is porting? C.What are domes? D.What's T.O.R.S? E.What does the whole +2 or +1 or + mean? F.What does a jet kit do? and finally G.What is jetting?

Also, can you install rear a rear YFZ 450 shock on the banshee? I didn't see it in the tut so idk.

Well I found some YFZ 450 shocks really cheap near me... I saw the tut on how to put em in, is it hard? Or realetively (sp?) simple? I'd rather not fork out a grand for awesome shocks since I don't really have the money for it...but if the YFZ shocks aren't worth the hassle putting them in than I will shell out the cash.

I've never ridden one ... Although I am getting my first one this month, I admit to never ridding one before... I've ridden alot otherthan...YFZ450's, Warriors, Blasters, Grizzlies, Can Ams, and just recently a Raptor 700... I'm looking forward to the day

Recently the first ATV Supermoto was held... Since there are XC, Flat track, MX, etc. forums about, is there one planned for the new Supermoto following? I'm not personally a fan but it's just a thought.

Yeah but think about those ppl who don't know what a quad is, they might ride right infront of you or cut you off or possibly run tread marks all over your face all while you could have stopped it before it started. It's best to take the 450...better safe then sorry eh.

It's a fo-stroke...

This isn't exactly a banshee, nor an ATV for that matter...but my Yamaha TTR-125L is under suspicion. Lately, when decelerating my bike backfires pretty bad, but only when decelerating. When accelerating it's completely fine...but the second I let off the throttle hear come the backfires. Any help?
