  1. need a stock r/h muffler in good working order. also 4 exhaust collars, just the rubber pieces, i don't need the clamps....by collars i mean the rubber insulator type things between the pieces of piping in the exhaust system. i'm in MI: 48105, or in ON: N2B 3B4 email me please, i don't come here very often: onefastsled@execulink dot com --matt
  2. which pipes are these exactly? moto, fatty, or gnarly? also are those silencers power core IV, megamax II? or? --matt
  3. thanks for the info --matt
  4. when i'm starting my 'shee in gear with the clutch pulled in, when i kick the quad moves a little but will start. like the crank isn't totally disconnected from the drivetrain. when the quad is in neutral it doesn't do this, and yes the points line up on the crankcase where the cable ends. so is this normal? --matt
  5. 125psi is LOW?? i just (5mins ago) checked mine, and i had 90 PSI in the left and 80 psi in the right i had 90 in both in july but i lost 10 there somehow...time for a rebuild... OKBEAST--are your bore/stroke/pistons stock size? --matt
  6. does anyone use oxygen sensors to do their tuning? if so what system are you using? --matt
  7. will you separate them? --matt
  8. hey man pick up a copy of the isell or triad (or whatever they're calling it now) lots of deals in there. there was a running 'shee in there for $2100 cad a few weeks ago out in niagra --matt

  11. boooooo i wanna see some pics!! --matt
  12. hey duke! i'm pretty new to the banshee as well and 99% of my riding is in the woods, it's bone stock as well. i switched my sprockets from stock (14/41) to 13/44. lots of bottom end power, although if you get the rpms too low it will still bog...much less bogging with this setup. and it only costs about $40. you lose top end speed though, i top out at 60MPH now. don't be afriad to dump the clutch either if you need some rpms! --matt
  13. what are you going to use to cut them? --matt
  14. i figure it will, since the previous owner installed an auxilliary 5gallon fuel tank haha. where are you from? i'm in kitchener --matt
  15. the cops here do it for free, or you can go to the licence bureau and i think it's $10 and you get the whole history of the machine...previous owners, accidents, leins etc. cops only tell you if it's stolen or not. --matt
  16. does this style nerf with heel guard interfere with the kickstarter? pro aluminum pro lite: UM (and others) also makes one, but i dunno if it interferes with the kickstarter?? who makes a nerf that incorporates a peg and heel guards that clear the kickstarter? tia --matt
  17. do you still have the stock a-arms? i need left hand stock a-arms, spindle & tie-rod.. can you send pics of the nerf bars to [email protected] thx --matt
  18. alright i need both left hand a-arms in silver/grey, left hand tie-rod, and left hand spindle (i think that's what you call it, the thing between the a-arms that holds the wheel) condition doesn't matter too much, normal wear is expected, BUT parts can't be bent out of normal shape. also if shipping from the usa, must be willing to ship USPS. thx --matt
  19. ??? this was the culprit, a broken tie rod oh yeh, and i clipped a tree like i barely touched it i thought ! :-D my leg is a bit bruised up and hurting, but other then that it's all good. bike needs a new tie rod, a-arms, & spindle though. rim is a bit banged up as well but appears to be holding air. --matt
  20. so i was planning on buying a new sled this coming season, but i couldn't pass up the deal i found the other night! always wanted one of these.. it's a 2001 arctic cat thundercat with 2300miles. blackmagic head & pipes, boyesen reeds, cover, 192 studs, shocks rebuilt at 1000miles, tour buddy & reverse. i wasn't 20mins from where i picked it up and the cops pulled me over. two cruisers, wondering what i was doing with a sled in july, they thought it was stolen. (picked it up right near an indian reserve that's famous for stealing stuff) so they ran the VIN and then let me go. should be fassst --matt
  21. FIXED!!!!!! replaced the spring, bearing, oring and bolt, and it's good as new now! the spring was so worn out it wasn't putting any pressure on the bearing, so i think that's why it was rattling so bad. total cost $8..and i still have 4 bearings and 4 bolts left. (minimum purchase 5 each) --matt
  22. ok here we go: outer diameter: 2.443" inner diameter: 1.371" overall width: 0.554" if you want, i could ship you the old bearing for the cost of shipping... --matt
  23. well this 'shee hauls ASS with this new sprocket setup! i'm being more aggressive with the clutch as well, i had an awesome ride today. got some great air, and came home covered in about 1/4" of mud everywhere lol. found a huge raspberry patch and looong grape vines so i had an afternoon snack out in the bush too. great day ! maybe next season after i do a top end i'll go back to the 14/41, we'll see. this 13/44 is kickin' ass now though :baseball_w00t: :baseball_w00t: --matt
  24. definitely don't buy that stuff from yamaha. i paid $29 for each bearing, another parts store here local sells them for $12.95, seals for $7.95. check them out www.royaldistributing.com page 125. i'm sure they ship to usa, or i can ship them to you if you want. the bearings are both the same on either side, but like you said the seals are not. i still have my old bearings, i can measure them on tues when i go to work where i have a vernier if someone has not posted up by then --matt
  25. 4 strokes 4 old folks!! i think a cool sticker would be this wording, "Your gonna have to put oil in your gas to catch my ass!!!" along with a "www.bansheehq.com," and a little pic of a banshee. maybe some different wording, but you get the idea. how bout it chase? where's a pic of your 'fuk 4 strokes' sticker? --matt
