  1. buddy!! i'm going up to look at a cottage near val 'dor!! what's the snow situation like there in the winter? is the snowmobiling season long & is there a lot of snow? i don't wanna buy a place up there if i can't use my sled! --matt i have no idea man. my plan is to go up north, north bay area every 3rd weekend to ride. ( every 3rd weekend is a long weekend for me) if you want to go up there sometime that'd be cool. do you know of any good riding areas around here? --matt
  2. what, not even a single opinion? --matt
  3. i use a porter-cable variable speed/random orbit buffer/polisher. works great, i used it on my vette no problems. i think it ran about $250. most hardware type stores carry them. --matt
  4. what's the TORS supposed to do, like besides the obvious --matt
  5. do i really need them, i dunno? i'm just missing the right hand side. most of my riding is going to be trail, so if they're just gonna break again i don't see any point in replacing them. what should i doooo? --matt
  6. thanks for all the welcomes!! i was gonna take pics tonight, but dammit i forgot, i'll try tomorrow. right now i have all the wheels off and it's sitting up on a stool. i'm going through it front to back checking everything i can think of. tonight i ended up tightening every single bolt on the front suspension...evvverything was loose...so i'll be checking every other bolt on the quad..b-o-r-i-n-g!! this thing wasn't really maintained, it seems it was just ridden. i don't think the chain has ever come off, i had to get a hammer and punch out to open the link up, so looks like i'm in for a chain & sprocket set for sure so far. --matt
  7. i'll give that a try. this is what they look like right now.. --matt
  8. could someone tell me what these wires are supposed to be for? they're disconnected and appear to be going to the carburetor. why would someone disconnect these? thanks --matt
  9. what would i call that piece of plastic that goes right behind the heel? it's missing on my 'shee.. --matt
  10. my headlights look kinda foggy-the glass part. not clear like they are when new. is there anything i can do to fix this problem besides replacing the headlight? thanks --matt
  11. i have a 2001 WHITE banshee, no graphics on it at all except for some that are 1/2 peeled off, it looks VERY plain. i was thinking about getting this set from XGX i was thinking about this one too, but think it might look a bit too gay lol so what do ya think? remember it's going on a WHITE shee, so i can't really go with darker colors IMO. does anyone have something else to suggest? thanks --matt
  12. i'm in kitchener, ON.. --matt
  13. hi everyone! tonight i picked up my first banshee, it's a 2001 with white plastics. not really a fan of the white, but i couldn't pass on the price! it needs some work, new axle bearings in the back, and a bushing on the right hand lower control arm. needs some other little things but should be good to go pretty soon, i can't wait to hit some quarry's. seeya around --matt
