  2. Bag the boost bottle and if your concerned with overheating might as well spring for a noss head or prodesign coolhead I'm sure the people here will suggest noss as do I.
  3. I had to use the stock gasket becouse when I put mine back together I noticed that one little o-ring was leaking atifreeze and when I went back in to replace the o-ring the damn case gasket I got from rocky mountin ripped so I cleaned upthe stock gasket and have not had any problems Oh yeah and I also broke one of the damn sleeves for the springs that's what you get just like he says
  4. I would adjust the screw, First drain all your case oil at the drain plug then with the radiator cap on tight remove the hose going in to your case, keeping the cap on reduces mess, when you get the hose off and secured over a drain pan or bottle remove the radiator cap releasing the rest of the fluid. Then remove your footpeg kick starter ect. so you have a clear shot at your side cover, after you get the side cover removed you will see a screw in the middle of your pressure plate with a lock nut on it, loosen the lock nut (normal threads) and turn the screw in to take slack out of your clutch or out to increse slack when you get the adjustment your lookin for tighten down the lock nut and reassemble, oh and be sure to check all your gakets and o rings for wear and tear, for sure the little o ring on the post that connects to the water hose on the back side of the side case. it sucks getting it all back together and realizing that you have a leak. good luck
  5. I assume the clutches are in decent shape. did you try adjusting the cable or is it stretched? if that is all good you could try to adjust the adjuster screw inside the case cover even though it appears not to have moved you never know, this is a pretty simple task although it sucks taking the cover off and draining all the fluids good luck.

  20. I tried udjusting the cable with no luck so I pulled the cover and found thst one of the clutches was way out of wack so I loosened the bolts over the springs and straightened it out. now I can't get the damn clutches to slide back on to the splines, the basket goes over and all the way back but the clutches won't go on all the way. I notices there are some washers inside the basket that are just wabbling around, could this be why thay are not lining up?

  23. Yeah man that's why the expression goes keep it on four wheels..
  24. When I bought my first shee I was very green at repairs mods and such. I went out and bought me a k&n replacment in box filter well the genius I am I figured it would get alot better air flow if I just left the top of the airbox off instead of drilling holes in it, needless to say that when I took it to the dunes and the damn filter fell of and my carbs sucked in about a pound of sand That wasn't such a great idea after all, it did get buch better airflow though LOL..
