  1. If you have to take a link out then do it. Whats the problem with that, unless you want to go back to a bigger sprocket then you might have to buy a new chain. If you are dead set on the 13t then cut the chain.

  3. I paid 2300 dollars from F.A.S.T racing and got a whole setup for the 421 cub motor so for another 400 bucks you could ge that instead of crappy trinity.
  4. If you are still looking i have a stock one for 75 bucks shipped its in great shape.
  5. You are supposed to remove the cushions the directions for my clutch stated that.
  6. well i personally don't like trinity, but what is included in their stage 4 kit and what does it cost?
  7. if it is leaking it is bad, the tension could have come out of the spring it could be worn who knows it it leaks then you will have to replace it.
  8. the screw in the middle of the nut is your clutch adjustment. The nut is a jam nut to keep the screw from moving you have to get that nut tight. If the problem persists put some loctite blue on the threads and then try it.
  9. would the cheap 8 paddle tires do pretty good in a sandy but also very rocky soil i don't want to tear up the haulers in this stuff but the nobbies just aren't cutting it.
  10. From what i have read a 150 main is probably gonna be it and like everyone said a 50 or so pilot i am gonna work my way down from 155.
  11. i just took it apart and it was 78 pilots
  12. if it is all sane then i would go with stock gearing maybe even a 13 tooth front when i had similar mods i had a 14t front and never hit sixth gear and rarely fifth so a 13 might be pretty good but 14t would be max
  13. i don't know what needle it is i got it from Jeff at FAST just like it is but i know it is 160 mains and 78 pilots does it say somewhere on the needle what they are?
  14. I have a 4mm cub with 35mm airstrykers and shearer pipes with vforce2 reeds what should my jetting be? right now its a 160 main and a 78 pilot thats how i got the carbs i am at 5500 feet so any info would be nice.
  15. also, is 1/4" hose the right size for fuel hose?
  16. you have the same motor i do dj what are you running for pilots and mains, i just took mine apart and i have 78 pilots and 160 mains and i am at 5500 feet does that sound rich or lean?
  17. i have 35mm airstrykers and was wondering what my float level should be how do i measure it and what should it be. I am running out of fuel on the right side when i am am WOT i don't have a pingel valve so that might be it. I would like to know though.
  18. what should they be at? and how do i measure them? do i go up or down with the needle to richen it up?
  19. yeah it sounds low, but what is your elevation that has a lot to do with it, mine stock out of the box was about 110 pounds because i am at almost 6000 feet.
  20. it seems to only do it on the right side, i don't have the pingel valve so i think it is running out of fuel on that side, does that sound like it could be that, cause like i said it runs great for a few gears then bogs but if i let it idle and fill back up the bowls it will haul ass or if i don't have it wide open it will do just fine.
  21. i don't know the jet sizes because i have never taken the carbs apart yet i was going to and it started this crap on the first ride. all my mods are in my sig,I am at 5500 feet of elevation. I got the carbs from F.A.S.T. racing and he said they would be a little fat on the jetting but i guess i will have to take it apart and see.
  22. coil wires seem to be okay
  23. that would make it run then cut out like that? It ran fine the last time i rode it when it had the t-6 pipes so that kind of rules out a fuel issue i think.
  24. i am not sure on my jetting i barely got the pipes on and it started this crap so i never got the chance to check it no sync tool either, could it be running out of fuel, it seemed to be fine for the first three gears then it would bog, if i let it idle for a second then take off it would haul ass till like 4th gear or so then bog again.
  25. even in low gears it started to do it like taking off and just going from 2nd gear it would still barely go then take off for a second then bog like crap again? could it be my cdi? it sounded like one pipe was not making near the noise the other one was. and one side didn't ping like the other i switched the wires and it changed sides as far as the weak sonding pipe.
