  1. its pretty darn good now, by the way, the motor screams with the new pipes.
  2. anyone have a problem with the left side fuel line hitting the shearer pipes what should i do about it? i put heat resistant fibers on the stinger to shiled it is that enough?
  3. i have the pancake bearing so it should be ok how long do i hold it WOT
  4. I put a 152 main and 48 pilot and it ran a hell of a lot better. Whats the best way to check if I am to rich or lean on the main. Do i run it wide open and shut it down real fast and check the plugs or what? by the way it was a 58 pilot not a 78 my bad.
  5. I put a 152 main and a 48 pilot to start and it ran a lot botter all the way through and by the way I am sorry for saying it was a 78 pilot it was a 58. Whats the best way to check if I am to rich on the main. Do i run it wide open then shut it down real fast and check the plugs or what?
  6. yeah thats exactly what should have happened with that much compression, but it sure does wear on your stock crank to do that. Anyways good luck man sounds like you are happy, the craving for power never ends.
  7. what is a duneable overide
  8. yeah a timing plate is good, so is shaving the head, is port work a possibility?
  9. I had t-6's on my cub for a while and they suck for cubs, i put shearers on it and when i took it for a spin it ran twice as good but when my shee was mostly stock they were badass.
  10. may cause hard starting cause the premix isn't getting into the cylinder as well, check your compression you may have to low of compression causeing hard cold starting.
  11. I am at 5000 feet and with k&N filters t-6 pipes and vforce reeds I was at a 250 main and it could have probably been a 240 but i would start at a 290 and work down
  12. just take a link out, you can just grind the mushroomed part of the pin out on the link you want to take out and the pin will come out in turn you can take that link out.
  13. v force all the way no question tried and true.
  14. sounds like you have better things to don in Myrtle beach and your opportunitys for money making are better in an area with much more commerce and like everyone said you are youg and there are lots of young hotties there to hang with I am only 22 and i would have done it when I was 18 if I had the opportunity.
  15. you have a little bit of a port and all the usual mods, I think the 38 would be a good carb to go with. Think about your going from two 26mm carbs to one 38mm carb.
  16. i would go with a 290 main to start with i am 1000 feet higher with similar mods and was at a 250 main with no airbox i am even a little more than 1000 feet more than that.
  17. Not the cpi's or shearers for all around riding, if you notice they are labeled as an inframe drag pipe thats not all around. I had t-6s and they were great but they don't respond to a ported motor and the t-5s do so go with the t-5's.
  18. I would never go to a single carb setup, you are limiting yourself for power. Imagine going from two 26mm carbs to one 35mm? that kinda cuts your power potential in my opinion, more low end equals less top end. If you want low end get a 4 stroker. just my opinion.
  19. If it still rides good and steers good and you are not to heartbroken with the dent in the pipe just go with it.
  20. I would just cut a couple of coils off the carb springs. I just got two new 35mm airstrykers and the thumbe throttle was so much harder to push than stock.
  21. Or you have to buy the spacer plate, but for max power you should get them ported.
  22. he gets them from Noss machine the link to their website is at the top of the hg page just go there and order them.
  23. Get a set of t-5's a coolhead and v-force3 reeds and a timing advance plate, i think you should smoke that honda piece of junk to top it off get a decent port job and tear him up. Call Jeff, FASTOYS is his name on here he can hook you up for an awesome price, no honda will ever touch you.
  24. i am at 5500 feet and that jetting seems a little fat to me i was running a 250 main up here so maybe a 260 main would be closer try a 270 and work down
  25. In my personal opinion the toomey t-5's are a great pipe for all around trails and dunes and drag racing on a stock machine that is. just my opinion.
