  1. i got it to rev up, but when i let the clutch out it wants to die and barely takes off, it will take off pretty good after that but then it cuts out backfires then takes off a little again, then backfires and cuts out, then sometimes it dies and just won't rev better than when i started but not very good.

  4. no its not stolen, my friend just didn't want it cause he couldn't get it running, compression is at 115 pounds and there are no mods it is stock and the carb is a keihin.
  5. I just aquired a non running atc 250r, i got it running real rough. The jets are 122 main 40 pilot, is that to rich or lean or what? I have never messed with one before, also it won't rev up very good and it won't rev up very high, what could be some of the problems, i have spark and fuel just not sure why it could be doing this, any suggestions would be appreciated.

  8. I just bought some elka recreational shocks, got a deal i couldn't pass up, did i make a good buy? are they good shocks or what? I need to get the rear shock redone for my plus 4 swingarm, who does it and how much is it?

  11. I am at a 152 main a 42 pilot and a cgl needle on the leanest clip, the bike idles great makes great smooth power and the plugs look good, maybe one size lean. I am at 6000 feet, does this sound prety close to everyone or what is your opinion?

Its the nature of them due to the fact they have no fan, no airflow to the radiator means less cooling efficiency, open her up and she will cool down, or get a pro design impeller, and that will help, use engine ice and that will help, and best of all get an oversized radiator, but other than that you ahve to get air to them.
  13. I don't know where to get them at but i know how to do it. Have been doing it for a hile now for the local guys that have the same problem i just cut a piece of aluminum out and weld it in and i know lots of performance shops do it but don't know where to buy at.
  14. got it out with a left hand drill bit no prob.
  15. I was tightening my clutch spring bolts and i was torqueing them and the first one broke and i had barely tightened it, now the bolt is stuck in there. I guess i can try to easy out it or something but it aluminum so it suckis, plus its a brand new hub never even run yet. What should i do, the old hub looks like its just fine, should i use it or get another new one?

    I need some shocks and a-arms, let me know what you have. I also want any billet parts such as shifter kickstarter anything alse also let me know what you have.
  18. the pipes can be purchased from cpi's website or call one of the performance shops they usually carry them or can get them really quick. Call Jeff at FAST racing PM FASTOYS on here.
  19. If you want a stroker you have to put a stroker crank in it, and that would entail splitting the cases, basically a whole dissasembly. You might as well get it ported to compliment your stroker crank. what else do you need to know?
  20. What exactly do you need more top end for? I just swapped my 16t front for a 14t the top end does you very little good in 300ft sand drags and at the dunes a 16t is to big in my opinion. If you want a little more top end go up to a 15 in the front that is kind of a happy medium
  21. I have a 421 cub and was wondering if i should have ported the cases before i put it all together, does this give you more power or what? If so how do you do it?
  22. the bolts/screws that hold the springs in, how tight do i get them, do i tighten them all the way up until they bottom out on the stub that sticks up from the inner clutch hub or what? I mean do i tighten them until they don't go anymore?
  23. are pro-design o-rings and noss head o-rings the same or what? Or do i have to buy them seperate? I am buying a bunch of stuff from another site and would like to order it all there.
  24. on my plugs the ring starts all the way at the base of the porcelain and runs up about 1.6mm and it gets lighter as it goes up, is this rich or lean or what? I can't seem to post pics on here or i would show everyone.
  25. Are they the aluminum ones? I had a pair break on me at Coral Pink Sand dunes and had to ride around with just my throttle side to try and buy a set from campers got some kx highs and i still have them on there. They were brand new and i was coming around a corner pretty hard and the left side just broke right where the handle bar clamp bolts on thought that was kind of weird since they weren't tweaked previously or nothing but they looked nice and weren't to pricy, the rezy is fine.
