  1. toss my name in the hat
  2. if carbs were insync before and all I did was move the needle on clip they should change?
  3. -fmf fatties -boysen reeds(stock cages) -midrange port -shaved head -100 octane and mc1 (50to1) -+4 timing -k$n pods -lightened flywheel -bored .20 or .25 -stock carbs and intake -elevation 1500 to 2000 feet and 70 to 100 temps(nebraska) I just got the head shaved, the port work and the pods. I installed everything on the bike and it ran great except it would bog some times off the start and didn't like to idle. I pulled the plugs and they were oily black. I figured it was running rich, so I dropped the jet needle back one clip to lean it out a little. I was on the middle clip prior. I Reinstalled the carbs and now I cant get the damn thing to start. Should I have went to a smaller main? If so I am confused because with the port, head, and pods shouldn't I have to go to a bigger main, instead of a smaller one? I am not sure what size is in there now, Ill wait to here some responses from the HQ brainiacs before I pull the carbs apart. Also I usually get beat by a piped and jetted yamaha 450-is it me or the bike?
  4. I have used many different grips and have to say, in terms of comfort, spiders are probably the best I have owned. The only downfall is if they get wet they are slicker than snot.
  5. I will second the boonman response. When I had my flywheel lightened he actually machined and shipped back to me the same day. BOONMAN ROCKS
  6. As long as you have everything stripped down to the flywheel and have the nut off most atv shops will just zip it off for you at little or no charge. I have done this twice because I could not find a puller for sale without ordering off the internet. But then again this is Nebraska and people are a little nicer than other places.
  7. what air filters do you have? I'm looking for some k&n pods for stock carbs.

  11. My god thats one nasty looking pole! You go the distance to get your point across.
  12. Definately go with the axle! rotating weight robs more hp from you than still weight. Losing seven pounds of still weight is equal to gaining 1 hp, but losing 1 pound of rotating weight is equal to losing eleven pounds of still weight. Do the math on that and you gain about 1 1/2 hp from that one pound.
  13. ill take the water pump cover, clutch cover, and brake resivor cover, and the kicker. so do you do paypal?
