  1. Tim, what pipes and compression are you gonna run?
  2. I use a stock stator with the ground floated. It is hooked to a reg/rec and charges a 10ah battery. It is wired with a relay and only charges the battery when the lights are on. The stocker is just like the rs as far as floating the ground. You just have to dremel the ground out of the resin, solder it, and heat shrink it. Its a bitch thats for sure. I think I used a pic trail tech had and thats how I found the ground on the stock stator. I am in my 3 rd summer running it, and have had zero problems with the setup so far. My biggest problem is vision x comes out with a new light every time I buy one and run it a few times. LOL!

I dont think this is the correct vehicle for questioning loco. This douche has come in here and suceeded in what he was trying to do. Thats to turn everyone on this site against each other for his own sick pleasure. I think PM's are the way to communicate your concerns about how the site is being ran. If the little bastard says something in the shoutbox, copy and paste it in a pm to loco. He will take care of it.
  4. I recommend calling tim at stellar machine and performance. He can make you anything you want out of lightweight chromoly, and he can have it powdercoated. He is also a site sponsor.
  5. not a problem, pm me when you need lights and I will give you a good deal.
  6. dont buy an RM stator either.
  7. I dont know about a stock stator. The math says it is possible to. http://trailtech.net/regulator_rectifier.html
  8. I have a ported 350 that runs on 110 sunoco. 185 psi compression. It hates .030" gap and loves the .022" gap.
  9. There is a little bump in there on the transfers that I leave in. It helps direct the charge to the center of the chamber. Most of the hp to be had in stock cylinders is from unleashing the anemic transfers.
  10. NGK BR8ES for me.
  11. Dont use a ricky stator, they are a pile of shit. I use a snowmobile reg/rec, I get them from a place in wisconsin. They cost quite a bit, you can use a trail tech if you want. You buy the spot beams if you want long distance. You mount the solstice light on the stock mounts, you can also mount them on the handlebars.
  12. Sorry I spelled it wrong, but I was not making any association with duncan racing in california.
  13. I have only used bulldog.
  14. the owner of JD Racing in Oregon was Jim Duncan. If it is a stroker with no spacer plate, then the domes are going to have to be custom machined.
  15. Why dont you learn how to spell "something".
  16. Thread Link I think the battery was a 10ah. I need to do a new thrad with a wiring diagram. I integrated the overflow bottle bracket into the battery mount also.
  17. how about you just ride the bike and not worry about it. If your not mechanically inclined enought to know what these guys are talking about, then you dont need to be pulling it apart or working on it.
  18. you at the very least have to run them with DC. I actually sell those lights for about $108.00 each. If you find them cheaper I will beat the price. You have to float your ground and run a reg/rec. You can also add a battery to the system with the reg/rec if you like. I ran those a while go, I run a 9" vision x reflex bar now with a reg/rec and a battery.
  19. The only chain adjusters left are the used ones.
  20. Isn't Rudy Associated with RDZ? I could be wrong. I thought he cut trannies for them?
  21. Thanks, anyone else?
  22. I know Ronnie did porting for Jim, he built a motor for me their. Louie Swan was the guy who painted most of the JD bikes, he wasn't just a customer.
