  1. Most of the time injector failure is caused by carbon clogging the nozzles, its going to be almost non-existent on a 2-stroke.
  2. I cant believe you guys just tried to justify what this guy has been saying. Persoanlly, I want this guy kicked off the HQ and have his posts pulled in case someone of higher power reads what he has been saying and decides to make a big deal about it. No matter what way you look at it, breaking the law hurts the sport and makes us look even worse than we already do. We have problems down in Winchester Bay, OR right now because people are haulin ass between the campground and the dunes, and the cops are gonna shut down the side of the road to atv's because they cant patrol it all day. I know a forest service guy that works down there, he had a dirt biker spray rocks on his Brand New Duramax pickup while the guy was hauling ass down the side of the road. This guy is almost certainly encountering other people on the street beside the police, and he is putting them in danger by riding on the street wether the police are chasing him or not. He has this I dont give a shit destructive attitude about other people, it reminds me alot of high schooler personally. Unbelieveable!
  3. I would use Dan at Patriot Racing Patriot Racing Link
  4. so it will get crank end play or radial play? Crank end play shouldn't take out a stator, but radial end play may cause the flywheel to whack the stator or the pick up.
  5. God is the man, he's not gonna be happy your sticking it to him.
  6. You will probably get some riding in between your stints in Jail.
  7. Ummm, well since the guys stock stator had gone bad and the new one ran awhile, then I would look into a wiring or install issue. You guys are the ones that have issues with RS products, I dont have issues with them at all. This bike isn't a Banshee either.
  8. Its a little too coincedental that he blew one right before this also for it to be a issue with the manufacturing of the component. Dont blame RS until you know whats wrong.
  9. Check the flywheel pickup for sighn of contact with the stator magnets. Often times they will rub, heat up and go bad.
  10. Theres no doubt I have seen a few innovative and interesting things that he has posted pictures of. But dear god he is a douche bag!
  11. You seriously are why this sport gets a bad name. :geek:
  12. It seemed to me like the midrange had more pep after I had it done.
  13. I noticed a difference.
  14. Napa offers one in the balkamp line. I bought higher psi one at the Napa in Coos Bay when I was in a bind.
  15. I sort of thought that.
  16. The stator does always make ac voltage, however, it does not always make the maximum voltage its capable of making. Thats why the lights dim at idle, and get brighter once revved up. Once the bike hits 6k rpm, it makes the same voltage from 6k rpm to peak redline. The regulator is a shunt to ground, thats how it regulates voltage. Ricky makes a higher resistance regualtor that shunts less eletrical voltage to ground resulting in a higher operating voltage of 12v ac. Basically the regualtor is a fixed grounded resistor with a heat dissipation housing. It regulates at a percentage of the voltage until 6k rpm. so it will go from about 9.85v up to the mid 11v range as it is revved up. Once around 6k rpm, it stays regulated at the mid 11v range. Just like any other electrical system, the more electrical voltage pushed to ground, the more heat will be generated in the harness. Thats why a bad voltage regulator will fry a harness. Turbo has a 12 pole 3 phase custom wound stator with a reg/rectifier, thats how he gets 500 watts from it, he does not have a stock type dual phase stator. So sorry, but as you can see as you explained it, your not correct.
  17. That would be a french fry. Wasn't exactly sure, cause a lot of times people refer to the straight molded and cut paddles as straight cuts. I dont think I am the one that needs the douche, your obviously on your period right now.
  18. If you really want to run race gas that bad, just do 50/50 92 and 114.
  19. Seeing that with another guy behind him in a wheel chair makes that picture ironic.
  20. Sand, Dirt....? Whats done to your bike power wise?
  21. Are you talking about straight cut gears?
  22. I could possibly see it causing the exhaust gas in the silencer to have harder time getting out because of the gas waves bouncing around inside the chamber. As opposed to being funneled down the core tube and kicked out of the chamber.
  23.
