  1. sent you a pm back.
  2. You need a pipe on that blaster way before you will ever need a boost bottle.
  3. Well, when I was breaking my bike in, the plugs looked even on both sides, and neither one was wet.
  4. I am pretty sure the rs pickups are soldered.
  5. Its highly unlikely it was touching if it was a matchbook distance away. I would say if your stock pickup coil is good, then it will work just as well. You can also put the stock stator back on if it is still good.
  6. If its like that, then that is not good.
  7. I would not be too worried about a 5 psi difference.
  8. Ok, two things here. One you shouldn't have removed the screws for that, all you had to do to adjust it was bend it on the bracket to set the gap. Two, it does sorta look like it was contacting the flywheel, but it isn't broken. Some of those RS pickups dont stick out of the plastic casing very far. When mine came, I flipped out, but I ended up scratching some plastic of it with a razor knife and putting it on. It worked ok. Did you check the gap before you unscrewed it?
  9. You just said you had 150 psi compression. The higher the elevation, the lower the compression number. Where did gearing come from all of the sudden? Gearing is usually on a case to case scenario, and we cant really even begin to give you a starting point for it without knowing your riding scenario, tire sizes, etc......
  10. Whats your elevation, and what type of riding do you do?
  11. Swap the plugs and see if the other side still stays dry. Does it run ok?
  12. Probably near sea level then.
  13. Whats the plug part number? Are hers the same part #?
  14. got a pic of it?
  15. I called esr today and ordered one.
  16. Im not testing the waters, and I am not doing my own thing either. I am just doing something that you guys on here dont agree with, but I have been doing it all a long time. Most of the stuff I learn or advice I get is from my engine guy. He is a Boeing QC engineer and worked on the stealth project in the early 90's. He is hands down the smartest guy I know and he is a engine guru. He also knows the value of making, and determining actual and accurate hp numbers when he builds motors (his land and sea crank dyno), thats not something you see every day with so called good engine builders. In my every day life, with my friends, my family and the group I ride with, all this stuff is gospel and gets put to work and tested. I opted to run 50/50 race gas at 170 psi compression with 19cc domes because I know I will get this thing hot down in the holes. I am not worried about my crank, but if I ever split my cases I will match port them and have the crank trued and welded.
  17. I run 170 psi without the crank welded. I would not worry at all at 155 psi.
  18. One adjustment at a time. I would change jets, then ride............ Where is your stock stator. Just so you know, if you dropped or hit the flywheel with a hammer you could have cracked the magnets in it, and it will run like crap. Dont be so quick to condemn the stator just because it is a RS unit. I ride with 5 guys that have them + myself, and we dont have issues with them. I would say 90% of the stator issues are people install them incorrectly.
  19. These guys sell them and they will answer the phone. They also list them with pricing online. Their prices are competitive with Trinity also. Cascade LINK
  20. Whats the compression? A shaved head with 130 psi is not very healthy. You dont need to run race gas with that kind of compression. So, if thats what it actually is then you will be ok on 93 octane. Something doesn't add up here though.
  21. I am confused here. You look brilliant with this signature you devised. Then you post and look like a giant feminine Napkin.
  22. The other very important thing here is to do the jetting in order and only change one thing at a time. You always set the main jet first. If you get no response from the main because the needle is way whacked out, then set the needle. Always go in order if you can. Main, needle, pilot and air screw. Skip this order and you will chase your tail forever.
  23. Just to specify here. I run a 19cc dome in a stock bore, lightly ported motor. My compression with a 19cc dome is 169 psi. 169 psi is borederline 50/50 race gas and 92 octane. I run 50/50 so I can keep my heat down in the holes out in the sand. Based on what my motor said with 20cc domes (155 psi) and what the noss machine charts show for 19cc dome it could be a toss up. I would tend to think you would be low enough though.
