  1. I would guess you zero the plate. Does procomm say anything in the directions? Can you call their tech dept?
  2. I really dont understand why people port stock reedcages. The petal supports are already pretty sharp edges.
  3. I have dyno tests on this one. Having them will increase your midrange horsepower by .3hp! But, it will also rob about 1.2 hp from the peak rpm range. So, its probably not worth it to get them, they dont make a huge mid range difference on a small motor. They just rob from your max hp. I have a torque motor and I took mine off after the test.
  4. I had Dave Moore lighten mine. I have a cascade innovations shifter.
  5. you want a wiseco hot rod 4mm stroker long rod crank. Then you want wiseco 795m pistons, a cool head with removable domes. Have the domes machined, have someone port the motor, get a clutch kit and a flywheel lighten job while your at it. Then find yourself some new and bigger carbs. Have a nice day!
  6. lighten flywheel, reed petals, billet shifter can help improve your shift feel.
  7. Dyno Dave says the lectrons make more bottom end than any other carb.
  8. take the springs back off and move the hub around until it sits flat on the first fiber on top. I dont know what your talking about with the boss thing. Did you get a pancake adjuster or something?
  9. We are talking stock cylinder ported motors, yes! Not stock cylinder strokers. A stock cylinder motor standard bore or overbore with a stock sleeve is considered a 350 in my book. You put in a 4 mill stroker crank though, it becomes another animal. I think most people in here were thinking the same way, cause almost no one is on the stock standard bore. So now that we are done nit picking the details. I think a 64.5mm on a 4 mill is like a 376cc motor.
  10. 4mill is not a 350cc motor.
  11. Wiseco pistons, I thought going rate on a bore job is about $45-$50 a hole. Only reason he would be running 80:1 is probably with amsoil 2 stroke sauce.
  12. Jaws Racing out of Oregon. I dont even think they have a shop anymore.
  13. Dennis Packard is one of the best with lectrons, he will get you in the ball park if you run what he recommends for his setup.
  14. Apparently you got the carbs waiting to upgrade the cylinders then. I have seen those 34's and 35mm keihins on alot of ported 350 stuff. LRD, JSD, JD, K&T, Patriot Racing, ILR, Hoffman, Duncan, Jet city, Jaws, Redline, Packard, Trinity, RDZ. The only bikes that ran exceptionally well and fast from what I saw were the Redline, K&T, and The packard motors. Those bikes were full on hill shooters though. Two of them ran side pipes even. It seems like a lot of guys bolt them on just cause they think they can. When I modify or build a motor, or setup a bike. I try to get the person to spend the money in the areas where it will make the improvements he wants. I dont really recommend doing stuff cause it is cheap or it will get him by. My cousin does that shit and it always comes back to bite him down the road. You guys own banshees, just buying them is an agreement to open up your pocketbook just for general repairs when you ride. If you decide to do upgrades, it cost money to do it right. Run the 35's if you want, I dont know what to tell ya. You wont try smaller duals or a single, so you wont ever know how it would have run. From my experience, no ported 350 shy of a drag bike needs a set of duals that big.
  15. well then buy it from me!
  16. No main jet, just a mikuni pilot jet which is the power jet on a lectron. Getting the neele taper figured out and then adjusting it to perfect is a pain. I know a guy thats real good with them, I even got a set after he talked me into it too. That was a pain in the ass, glad I dont have those anymore. Dyno Dave is good with them, but he has every lectron needle known top man. So he can dick with his for a few hours when he switches to ethanol and get the tecate running good.
  17. Hold the presses here. For one, I dont have a 2 into 1 pipe anymore. I have pro circuits now. Now secondly, I said he could sell one carb, keep the other and get a 2 into 1 intake with his extra money. I did not say he should, or that he had too, I said he could. I also said at the beginning he should run 28-30mm duals for his setup. So I am not pushing the 2 into 1 on him at all. Now a dune port 350 will show no loss of power with a 2 into 1 intake. Only time you would see a significant loss is on a top end or drag ported motor. And obviously a motor with bigger bore or aftermarket cylinders. So, watch what you tell people I say, cause thats not what I said. Lots of people dont like the 2 into 1 for two reasons. 1. Other people bad mouth it. 2. Those other people never got it tuned right, so they bad mouth it. About 75-80% of the 2 into 1 intakes with pwk's I come across on bikes have the wrong jetting and needles in them, and change the power delivery alot once we play with them a bit.
  18. Time after time again you see those yahoos out there with 35mm pwk's and cpi pipes and they just dont run like they should. So, he is probably asking so he doesn't waste his time, cause most of us here know a guy like that with the 35's. I know I do, and his bike loses to mine up the hill, and thats what his bike is supposed to be good at. It sad when you got a full port 350 with cpi's and 35mm pwk's losing to a mx port bike with a 2 into 1 pipe, and a 2 into 1 intake.
  19. take the bulbs out and look on the back of them.
  20. You have to know where your running rich or lean and pick a needle that corresponds. They dont have a main jet, just a power jet. Which only comes into play partially at wot.
  21. Lots of guys here switching over to the 2 into 1. You could seperate them and sell them. Or sell one and run the other, use the extra cash to get the 2 into 1 intake.
  22. Pros= More bottom end power than other carbs. Cons= Pain in the ass to tune, and hard to get needles for.
  23. Hey I need the silencer stinger tube inner diameter, or the pipe outlet outer diameter. Thanks.
  24. In my opinion anything bigger than dual 28-30mm carbs is too big for that setup.
