  1. Good buy on the shee But ya R is so FRESH!!! Good job there for sure Joe
  2. Thanks for all the ideas guys- St anthony would be alittle to far for us 2300 miles one way is insane-- Most of the guys im rolling with cant take off for more than 7 days for this trip. Only bc we are taking off 2 weeks for Glamis.. LS HQ trip is sounding real good, as for the tent we are to spoiled for that stuff More than likely we will be renting a big ass RV for the trip- way better than being cooped up in a pickup with each-other.. Im sure we'll hate one another before the half way mark.. :shootself: So how is LS in comparison to glamis- nightlife, duning, meetings, drag stripes, how far is town if you wanna run our for something etc More concerned with the night life, my past 2 glamis trip there wasnt much partying going on, actually wasnt anything at all where we were camping. Joe
  3. This is awesome, pumped to see next years results. Curious on the age and experience difference here??? Joe
  4. Yea man as long as theres room your more than welcome to roll with us. We are looking to book a 30-35' RV to drive down in and tow a enclosed trailer, I have a 16' enclosed but we may need something larger for the trip. Im not worried about that, Ill buy one for the trip and sell it when i get home. Just really pumped for a road trip, meet some dudes from the HQ and hit some dunes other than glamis. Joe
  5. WTF is going on here banghead
  6. http://www.yfzcentral.com/forum/13-images-other-media/102793-kick-start-installed-what-do-you-guys-think.html found this one also
  7. So what are the date for 2012- Me and some boys from the east coast looking to make a road trip.. Looks like you guys had a blast!! Joe
  8. Last year we stayed on gecko road, I believe it was pad 4 But it changes every year, I'll keep you guys posted Stop in, we'll have TONS of food and boozes
  9. wow thats a crazy jump in temps in one weekend-- This trip will be toward the end of the year though- Feb we'll be in glamis.. Also as far as camping goes- we are fully prepared to rent a RV for the road trip or just tent it, either way it doesn't matter to us. We have the trucks and enclosed trailer ready to go, just looking for the HQ family to point us in the right direction.. We love glamis and we will be there every year, just looking to explore a little..
  10. Whats up guys, Im from the east coast, Ive done glamis a few times and I will be there again in Feb- we dont drive, we have the bikes trailered out there in a 18wheeler and we fly out. So me and a few of my friends looking to take a road trip next year, more than likely we are shooting for september-october. Looking to hit the dunes just need some help picking a spot- little sahara is like 1500 miles from us- silver lake is like 850, I know there are others but what would you guys suggest???? REALLY would like to keep it under 1500 miles one way if possible- most of my friends can only take off 7 days or so- figuring 3 days driving- 4 days duning. So talk to me, aside from glamis since we will be there in the beginning of the year WHERE SHOULD WE GO--- We basically love all sorts of riding and terrain, looking to party at night as well :headbang:
  11. Bike came out real nice! I don't run nerf bars, I like those foot pegs, where did you get them?? Joe
  12. Seriously cant believe this is still for sale, real nice old school banshee.. Good luck, I was thinking 2500 was a good # dont just give it away Joe
  13. Yup the trip is on for FEB again, me and the boys are doing the usual Flying into san diego on the 10th, chilling there till sunday and heading to glamis, we will be in glamis from the 12th-19th and than back to san diego for a few days till we fly home Whos gonna be there???? Joe
  14. They both have something mounted on the swingarm behind the shock, anyone know what it is?? Joe
  15. Have you done any homework here?? Do a search on craigslist or ebay, do not take offense but ya bike is lucky to pull 2gs Good luck wit your sale, the bikes just arent pulling the money they used to.. Guys on here are selling done up duners for that price, you might wanna reconsider Joe
  16. Looks Real clean What yr and what else do you know about it? Joe
  17. Do you have pictures of this?
  18. That was exciting to read. thanks :headbang: Cant wait till next year to see what times get put down So you guys will be running the EXACT same setups?? what is the rider weight difference?
  19. NO offense taken, I just know that ive cranked down on those 2 nuts with a monster pipe wrench and the have loosened up, I read on the HQ at one time about the electrical tape and it really works. Castle nuts also seems to loosen up on me after cranking the shit out of them, so red loctite stopped that problem. Carrier bearings are simple to replace as long as there arent to far gone and seized up. Get yourself a Cylmer asap, will help you with all your questions and concerns :headbang: Joe
  20. What year is the bike? woouldnt be a bad idea to change the carrier bearings if its a older model. The 2 nuts should tighten that up though, after you tighten them up wrap them with electrical tape it will stop them from loosen up again. As for the hubs, thats common, they loosen up often also, i use some red loctite and get some leverage while tighten and you should be fine.. MAKE SURE YOU REINSTALL THE COTTER PINS THOUGH. Joe
  21. He never stated that he would be running them in the stock location and handlebar mounts!! I know the stock stator cant handle much more than that..He's looking for a set of handlebar mounts and maybe something other than TT's if available without having to do a DC conversion... There must be other options out there, so post em up!! Joe
  22. Need some pics, what motor and setup was spinning these? Will these fit stock hubs? send me a PM if texting is easier for pictures! I see your new to the forum, welcome but - PICTURES PRICE AND LOCATION are mandatory in the for sale section!
  23. JMO But for 30 bucks id just buy one.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mod-Quad-billet-Yamaha-Banshee-350-case-saver-/290391285476?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item439cab5ee4#ht_500wt_1204 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mod-Quad-Yamaha-Banshee-350-WHITE-case-saver-YFZ350-/330532139166?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item4cf540309e#ht_500wt_1204
  24. I have them on my shee, after a few months the cheap ass chrome or whatever you want to call it started to peel, and I know for sure i have read that problem on this forum more than once!!! But, they are much much brighter than stock!! Joe
  25. well stock bars are 7/8 and 1 1/8 so you would need risers/adaptors so they actually are higher.. Also flexxbar have a few different options available, different heights etc thanks for the compliment.. Joe
