had my head shaved .030, all i have is k&n pods and hmf pipes. will i need to run a 50/50 mix of race gas??? i run vp's c-12 strait in my kfx-400 , but im running 13.5 : 1 compression. my buddy has 19 coolhead domes and runs c-12 strait. thanks

i have a new timing plate, i put it on today and my buddy is taking my flywheel to get lightened. what degree is good to adjust the plate?? i put it on plus 5 for now.

looking at a 2 into one but not sure i want it now. hmmmm...... should i stay with 2 for drag racing??? this is not a trail bike!!

thinking about 2 into 1 carb, this bikes for drag racing only. stock cycl. shaved head, a port and polish to come. im wanting to run a 2: 1 carb hopefully on alky. what size carb will i need to do this?? yes i'll lose some low end torque , but i'll gear for that.im trying to make a 300 ft drag bike ,stock frame ,stock head(shaved .30). im going for a sleeper look!! i just hate messing with 2 carbs, 4 stroke spoiled me. i'd like to run alky, so any .02 would be great!!! thanks

hell no ..........!!!! i guess my wifes cool as sh!t , i bought a kfx400(05) and got a 98 shee in less than a year!!!! yea , she say i do spend a lot of time messing with them both and every other sun. riding . but...... she knows thats what i like and she likes to see me happy and get out and do something. im not going to tell you married life sucks because i love my wife and my son to death . i just hope your bride to be is not making you sell your shee.if its a money thing ,well you got to do what you got to do. if she wants you to sell it for a money thing, hell no....... after your married what are you going to do to have fun ?go riding? you forgot you sold your quad!!! i guess you'll stay home and do home repairs or go shopping with your wife. and money may be to tight to buy another one for awhile since its half her money now!!!!! can you turn down the idle screw??? my new carbs(e bay) did that and it was the idle screw, it had the tors off so the screw was on the side.

make sure the choke tube between the carbs are connected, ive been through that 1 before.how do your plugs look? you may try new one's, it wont hurt.

how do you like your kfx? i have a 05 with a 13.5:1 piston,stage 2 hot cams, yoshi comp full,procom adjustible cdi ,dura blue front lowering kit, tusk nerf bars, k@n and running vp c12 race gas. i love it !!! trying to turn my 98 shee into a mild drag bike!!!!!!

i only got 1 pict of it and its not really good. it was driving by and i'd been doing some of this it looked cool as hell though!!! it looked like a drag banshee's bastard child

there was a fast little blaster! i guess you could call it that. all it was ,was frame,motor ,seat and handle bars. it was pretty damn fast!!! i took pict with disposiable cam, didn't really get any good picts. that 10 year old girl was fast!!! she rode it like a champ, big ups i bet her daddy was proud! my wife would have my ass if i stuck my boy on there at the age of 10!!!!!

back from the clash!! saw some really sick banshee's. i saw a 10 year old girl(pink banshee) put a woopin' on some grown men(stock frame class). im ready to get mine together!!! im thinking stock frame drag bike. thanks to choosetolose(ds rider) for hosting the raceing.

can you make a stock carb a alky carb?are do you have to by a alky carb?

i live in texarkana , its in the north east corner. he had the stock air box with the lid on . now he has clamp ons. what do you think he needs with fatties and k@n.

220 is stock??? they guy that had this bike said they melted it down once and its been rebuilt.

i have a friend thats putting a shee together and noticed he has a 195 main jett in his carbs. all he has is k@n clamp ons,fmf fatties. we live in texas so are elevation is not high. the 195 seems kind of low to me,what is stock? trying to get him to change it before he puts everything back together!! thanks for the help!!

thinking about getting my head milled, how much is safe. what kind of comp should i be looking at. i was looking at cool heads will a 20-19 domes. i like the sleeper look.
