a Wrangler, what the hell would you wanna do that for? i pulled one of them out of the 15" snow we got here Tuesday <---Toyota truck owner  you dont like the CJ's? definately get the 4.0 I6 if you must buy a Jeep :ninja:
-
its on its way
-
i would agree with that (not from personal experience with them tho, just based off of overall length). but i will add, for the umpteenth time, the stock YFZ450 shocks work very well also! more then enuf suspension for a "joe schmo" like myself.

i had to read it twice. i think the pitbull tried to eat it... otherwise i dont know lol
-
i have one with about 3-4" of wire on it. off my '03. worked great, i only removed because i replaced it with a tether kill pic... http://i1.tinypic.com/2mhj0c5.jpg make offer.

yep, there is also a guy in the Chicago area on there that has one for sale for $1100 (Lurch something something is his user name) and a guy in Indy IN that has 2 of them for $1100 a piece... also check out www.craigslist.com and www.atvriders.com

i feel pretty good having spent $350, compared to $1000+ so, how much stress does this part of the a-arm see? considering it rides on a delrin bushing, that rides on a steel sleeve, that rides on a steel bolt, all with a nice layer of grease? welds are weak right? how come factory welds dont break at the a-arm mount on the frame? or on the a-arm in the "T" (bushing mount area) where this is? ANYONE WHO WANTS TO COMPARE SETUPS (YFZ450 A-ARMS/SHOCKS vs. ANY HIGH DOLLAR AFTERMARKET FRONT SUSPENSION) LET ME KNOW. I AM MORE THEN WILLING, WHETHER I AM DISAPPOINTED OR NOT, its all in the name of the Banshee enthusiast! afterwards, i will buy you a beer or 2 seeing as i would be the one who would more likely be able to afford it  until then, all the doubters are only talking out of their ass! doors open, lets do it! i am within easy driving distance of Badlands (IN), St.Joes (MO) and anywhere in IL/WI/IA/IN/MO/TN/MI...

hey 'dawarriorman' are you anywhere near me? you are welcome to come with me to a local MX track and flog my setup for a few laps to test your statement (run some trails too and hit some rocks and logs with it) bring $12 for entry. anyone else in my area want to compare their high dollar aftermarket suspension to mine, let me know! the door is open. i'm not trying to toot my own horn or anything like that. i know this suspension setup isnt "the greatest" but it sure as hell isnt weak or shitty! just hollar

How many 'EMO' kids does it take to screw in a lightbulb?..... None, they all just sit and cry in the dark!

pretty much. unless they are a long travel arm. the YFZ450 shocks are 15-1/4" and they raise the front end up (with stock arms) about as far as you really want to go.
-
i dont know for sure but i am going to say that they are probably a little bit wider diameter then stock. but if you have 20mm of clearance now, you will be fine since that is over 3/4". they wont be that much wider then stock. for it to be close, since mounting position will be the same, the shock would have to be over 3/4" wider on each side (+1-1/2" overall diameter) and that would be one FATASS shock lol i have about a 1/4" clearance on my setup and have no issues nor am i worried about it.

I am in need of banshee help in the mascoutah illinois area
Mullet Man replied to Ilstang's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
i can put you in touch with the guy i bought my '03 off of. he is in the St.Louis area and has owned a few Banshees. he also runs an automotive performance shop called Redline Performance, he might be able to help you out... http://www.redline-fbody.com/ look at the contact link and call Chad. tell him Steve, the guy who bought the '03 banshee off him last year sent ya. some very very good help can be found on here also, if you want to try and tackle it yourself. what is the problem with it? -
i remember  just a little too much and just a little too far... (right now anyway)

:yucky: This guy is at an airport and needs to use the restroom before his flight leaves. He goes to the nearest men's bathroom and walks in to find it empty except one lone man with, sadly enough, no arms. The man goes to the urinal one away from him, because everyone knows there must be a one urinal gap, and as he is taking care of his business he looks over to find that the man with no arms is just standing there, obviously not able to unzip his pants. Once the man is done, the zips up and washes his hands. As he is leaving he looks back at the armless man and feels sorry for the guy who has surely been holding it in for a while now. He walks over the the guy and asks if he needs any assistance. The armless guy looks over relieved and says, "Aw man, thanks so much, I've been waiting here for so long. Could you possibly just unzip my pants?" The guy agrees and unzips the guys pants and realizes he probably has to take the armless guy's penis out. So as to not make it awkward he just does it without asking. He finds to his utter horror that the man's penis is green, pimply, oozing with puss and covered in rashes and sores. Disgusted, he waits for the man to finish and shoves the guys c0ck back in. Before leaving the man turns to the armless guy and asks, "Hey, I'm sorry to be forward...but what the f*ck is wrong with your d!ck man?" The armless guy looks over as he takes his arms out of his shirt and replies, "I don't know, but I sure as f*ck don't want to touch it!"

you need to get some extra cable and have it dangle off your roof, over your gutter. randomly looping it around a few times so it gets hung up on roof vents and your siding, this looks the best. then trim down all trees in yours and the neighbors yards and hope for Sahara like weather conditions :yelrotflmao: J/K. you dont need to do anything. CATV/Satellite can run off the same cables. but i wouldnt let the installer leave until you have looked over the job he/she did and made sure everything is working properly.
-
true that. (i installed CATV for 2 yrs) every house i ever went to, to hook up CATV after satellite had been there, it looked like a 4yr old did it. RG6 and or 59 just run a muck all over the house, inside and out. junk fittings on connectors, junk splitters (Radio Shack brand, not Digimax or Regal), no rubbers or grease on the outside connections, no ground anywhere. most Satellite installers i have talked to were payed by the job (piece work sorta). in and out as fast as you can without any quality control. only thing good that i have seen from Satellite is pricing over CATV. which when the install is shitty causing shit reception doesnt amount too much savings. but other then that, its great  cloudy days affect signal also.
