  1. I did each carb individually and yes I did line the slides back up. But I will check the tube that runs inbetween them. How do I syncronize my carbs? Both Slides open at the same time, if thats what your talkin about? Thanks guys.
  2. it seems more like a linkage problem or somthing? I guess it could be in the jetting though.... first time i even jetted a ATV carb but it wasnt like it was hard or anything. just seems odd..
  3. i duno if I spelled it right??? Anyways, I just got my pipes on, I put in 27.5 pilots, 320 mains, and 4th clip on the needle. Only other mod I have is clamp on filters. It will idle high sometimes, and then low sometimes, an if I BAAAAAAAAAAAAARLY tap the throttle (not even enough to move the cable) it will either die or keep running if it was going to die. Its really really toutchy. I dont undetstand. On the other hand thsi thing SCREAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fell like it will never stop revving!!! cant wait for some more mods! Any halp is apreciated, im leaning twards the TORS, witch will be eleminated soon.

  13. Just thought I would add to this, my buddy has a 450 also, pipe, cam, slight porting, and eldelbrock carb. He has stock gearing and we both had 18" tires on the back and with my bike BONE STOCK he would pull on me till I hit 3rd and then I just kept on pulling away. I didnt belive it but we raced 3 times with same results, The only advantage I have was that I am about 100lbs lighter than him.

  15. what it worth to ya? i just took mine off and I just carry them with me at all times and pop them on when night riding. I dont think I really need 2 though.
  16. I wouldnt think it would be an ignition problem, Could be wrong though. It idles fine but has a hard time going from off idle to say 3000rpm, then after that it will fly. All I did was unhooked both the TORS, ill try unpluging the control box. Should this still cause it not to idle?
  17. well it was just the clutch adjustment, it wasnt fully releasing the clutch all the way. I duno what cause it to all the sudden start doing that? oh well thanks guys
  18. I unplugged the TORS and it still did it, only thing differnt is it wouldnt idle with it removed. Plugs look fine, air filter is clean......... it just bogs and will die if it is below maybe 3000rpm? But it will idle fine with the tors hooked up.
  19. I think I have the same problem, are you talkin about lower or higher rpms? Did you run through any water? I would pull the plugs and check them also.

Well thats about it, the trans will sometimes not wanna downshift right and will seems as if Im not even pullin gthe clutch in sometimes when im upshifting, This is only at idle or very very low RPMs. It fells like the shifter will move alot more sometimes than others also... Its not stripped or nothing. I have no clue were to start. It wasnt like this before I rode the otherday.
  21. well its pooring down rain now so ill have to see tomarow maybe. I do still have the TORS, ill try unpluging it.
  22. if you want the most power you can get, then wouldnt you want more topend since that is were you will have the most power?
