Now you can try it after lightly sanding out the scratched in your pipe clamps and then buff the shit outa them with a wheel.

How did you end up scratching them???? I lightly sand them with very very fine sandpaper, then polished the shit outa them on a buffing wheel on a bench grinder is how i make stuff look new and shine again and take out light scratches :thumbsup:

LOL, no need to pry them apart, just take the rubber hose piece right outa the clamp and lube the shit outa the inside "AND" outside with premix, then slide over the stinger tube real good all the way. Then take the metal part and slide it over the rubber twisting back and forth as you go. There is only one way to slide them on as one side is shaved down inside a bit more then the other side (both clamps are like this). Then put more oil on the inside of the rubber if needed and push and twist the stingers into the pipes. Lubeing them is the trick as you want the dirty cock sucker to be tight and leak free once installed :thumbsup: Wipe away any excess oil when done. Also i pull my stingers right off to install the clamps on the stinger side, MUCH MUCH easier. :biggrin: Also what pipes are these going on?

Yes mine fell off last fall never to be seen again. There is a few different ways to stop them from rattling..The hollyman(sp) way or there is a way i did it also, and they both work good and shut them the fuck up too. I have a new kicker now and did the "shut the fuck up kicker mod" to it also. :thumbsup:

Never happened to me before. On a few different quads and dirt bikes over the years. Guess you luck sucks. Quality "helps" man and you know it.

Ive tried both, and both do what there supposed to. As long as you run a good quality chain and the tention is checked frequently and you maintain your chain properly and not run an e-bay special chain there should be no chain snapping or popping off to worry about.
