I moved mine down to the fender crease..The stock wiring lenth is perfect and doesn't droop or anything like that.. Cleaned up the bars a bit as well.. I'm gonna add a water temp guage to the other side.. Looks better without all that cluttered stock crap..

I don't mind the front on view at all.. It's the side view/design i don't like.. If the plastics somehow fit a little better where there wasn't a 6'' gap between the radiator and plastics i would like it better.. It's still a real nice bike and if you like it thats all that counts.. Hell i run the Blingstar Iron Cross bumper and it is the raptor plastics of the bumper world :biggrin: It's commonly called Boat Anchor lol.. I like it though and thats why it's on there :happy: :biggrin:

Also forgot to add this.. IF adding the battery to the stock headlights to make them brighter(image 1) would it be better to run the wire from the battery straight to the voltage regulator, that way there would be a solid stream of light instead of it getting brighter with higher throttle/brighter beam?? Needless to say i'm not the most savy with wiring

Hey guys, I've decided to add a water temp gauge and a few questions have came about.. I bought a nice APC 2 1/16" Flame glow water temp guage but i'm not sure on how to run it..I currently have a set of 50W Billet headlights and a after market taillight I'm running on the shee..With those 2 on there i don't want to push the stock stator anymore by adding the gauge and some LED's so i think i'm gonna run a small 12V battery and just charge it after each ride.. So with that said I have a few questions about how to wire them to the battery.. First off, will i need to add a resistor or something or can i just wire them straight to the battery using a toggle switch for off/on functions.. The led's can be hardwired directly to the battery through the toggle, but I wasn't sure about the Water Temp gauge.. Could the wiring from the battery be ran directly into the headlights as well for some added juice?(image 1) Also could the wiring coming from the stator that normally powered the headlights be used to somehow charge the battery??(image 2) Anyways i made 2 quick diagrams to show what I'm talking about so there is no confusion.. Thanks! This would be with the battery wiring running to assist the stator in powering the headlights.. This would be with the stock headlight wiring somehow charging the battery(not sure if this possible but thought i'd check) May work with some sort of charger being powered by the wires??

That seems like a awful lot for a set of graphics.. Don't get me wrong they're nice but steep on the pricing.. If i was in your position i would buy a $100 set of graphics/seat cover and use the other $200 for a performance part or some billet ..

Also comes with a brand new K&N with new outerwear.. No tears or anything like that in the outerwear.. Also comes with 2 lids.. One modded to be a open airbox but still keep the filter in place and the other is stock.. $65 shipped OBO Stock headlights.. The plastic mesh has been taken off and it needs bulbs.. Other than that the harness is in perfect shape with no cracks in the glass.. Comes with a set of Cascade headlight covers.. Asking $45 shipped OBO Blue radiator cover plastic with stock grill.. The little screws for the grill are MIA.. This is not the typical yamaha blue this is a bit lighter in color.. $25 shipped OBO.. Stock heel guards and plastic.. One of the little rubber pieces is missing as well as one of the plastic tabs is broken off.. Was fixed with a small zip tie or will still stay stable without.. $35 shipped OBO..
